This drama made me a bai yu fan and I really like how different timelines were handled and connected.. I have one question: at the end we see that handshake scene between YL and CMZ. Was that just a simple thank you or did they imply YL guessed their plan and gave that remote bomb to cmz when he met him earlier or was he also part of their plan?

RFX and Suqing chemistry is so good

There are few toxic fans in every fandom but not every criticism towards a character is equal to everyone hating the actress. Also there was wayyy more hate for xiwei when she worked with zlh. His fans even showed middle finger to her picture because she was equal billed with their fav so again why blame only us when every other c fandom is way more toxic than us. As a fan, I understand you want her to do more female centrics and I wish a great career for her too but please don't make it sound like working with whd was the worst thing ever for her when she faced much more after working with others. Xiwei's relationship with the whole dafeng cast was very beautiful. Whd left his schedule early to drive 3 hours to reach another city just to attend txw's private birthday party. Txw arranged purple snowfall for whd in his birthday (purple is his fan color and he wanted to see snowfall) so they were that close. She was treated like a princess and most liked their red carpet walk together in multiple award shows. Few bad apples doesn't represent the whole fandom

What hate?? most wanghedi fans love txw and it was mostly peaceful. btw lin an character was very minor in the novel so writers actually added alot of moments for her. She isn't even top 5 most important character in the story. You can criticize the writing tho but screentime is actually added alot more in the drama to make her more imp. And xiwei actually got appreciation more after gotd. Her crying scene in ep 21-22 trended on weibo. now she is more popular so she will likely not join s2 or maybe will only be guest appearance. It's been over a year since gotd aired so idk why you are bringing this here now but how can she be sidelined when her character was never supposed to be main center of the story? People criticized the character cuz as you said the writing wasn't good but her acting was praised
