No i get that and then later we learn it was a misunderstanding so i understand why FL was so angry at her father but i still feel confused when she is telling her father how him and that step daughter has done something too wrong by not meeting him after the accident. For ml, it was a big deal cuz it was the girl who he liked from his pov but in reality, that other girl is not his love so why expect them to meet him? She is telling her father how he got injured etc like it is their fault (feels like it is implied). I am enjoying the show but i really don't get what's such a big deal about all this. I would have understand this much drama over this if that girl was the one driving and because of her, he got into an accident. He was talking on phone with his friend while driving so if some stranger invited you to meet (not even lover or ex) and you got into an accident then yeah they are not good human beings but it's not that big of a deal

Can someone explain to me why they keep blaming others for the accident when it is his own fault? meeting someone on your way doesn't mean it's their fault. They are blaming on her father and that step daughter but I don't get it. Fl should be upset with her father cause they used her name which caused the misunderstanding between the leads but others shouldn't be blamed for the accident

This drama was such a mix bag for me. There are episodes which are soo good then stuff which doesn't makes sense. This excels at quiet slice of life moments but plotting & battle scenes are all over the place. It's a shame cuz i can feel the potential this drama had at times but then some eps were torture to finish. i really don't care about the whole conflict cuz the drama really didn't handle this well and it felt like scriptwriter is just ticking the boxes of plotlines that needs to be adapted and does it in a very rushed manner. QM & QQ storyline started interesting but then it became too dragging and they kinda glorified the abuser-victim relationship. FL story progression from butcher to general was also rushed as hell and as a result, it felt too unrealistic & dumb. Xz character was really bland throughout the drama and a tool/empty vessel character but he did grew on me in last few eps. Direction is really good especially in intimate moments but i feel battle scenes were not directed well and it was lacking. Xiwei acted great, zlh was passable & overall side characters were interesting but i kinda lost interest in their storylines too at the end

Cuz it's xianxia which are cgi & green screen heavy. It still looks great overall though but yeah not "realism" whereas poj is more historical romance drama

I started liking this around ep 10-21 but the latest battle/war arc is sooo illogical with the whole him hiding his identity. Firstly shouldn't she question why that strategist guy lied to her and were in her town as friend of YZ? How her husband met someone like him? Secondly, her taking the captive prisoner and no one stopping her at all. I get it she is love interest of the general but there is rules of military but she is just doing whatever and everyone letting her & then how everyone letting him keep the lie & hiding his identity no matter how dire the battle situation is. Lastly, i understand she drugged him to save him but how no one even saw/catch her and when someone did find her, he let her do whatever instead of even telling his identity in such cruel situation and even drugging a general should be a crime but feels like this whole war was just for their romance + dramatic moments and to get a pretty shot where she finds his identity in the middle of war so it's hard for me to enjoy this arc

I just hope ML character gets more interesting too cuz i am not really feeling much for him. FL is soo good and the reason why i am still watching this drama

I am only 9 ep in but ML has gotten injured so many times. I am liking the FL but i feel like story is being repetitive with people coming to harm her - ML gets injured - Changyu take care of him - repeat the cycle. I still want to give this more chance to see how plot develops considering how many people loving it. Hopefully it can improve and makes me more invested in the plot

I feel the same way. It's not bad and i can see why others are enjoying it but i am not connecting with the characters and plot isn't engaging me
