For everyone telling this series isn't like vampire diaries or originals because this series works on a limited…
Honestly I didn't know about the limited budget. But didn't Boun help with the plot? Hasn't this been rewrote for like... 4 times? So they obviously tried their best to make it work. And for having a limited budget they did better graphics than Golden Blood and Century of Love.
Secondly, I agree. Not all vampire shows have to be completely dark. I like the spin of kind of goofy vampire. We just learned that Ramil never loved anyone. So, wouldn't someone who just discovered love be a goofy little boy who's smitten and just wants to be noticed by his crush?
I think it has a good mix of drama, action, and romance. Yes, it'd be nice to have a bit more screen time for some side characters but it works? They aren't focusing on their story. They are focusing on vampires vs. hunters. I get it's not perfect but it's good enough for me to constantly refresh the page on each Saturday to watch the next episode right when it releases.
for the people who like this, i have a theory for what happened! Episode 6 had me on the edge of my seat! we're getting more answers!!
So the lady Punn talked to at the lake said she made the forest for Ramil while he was trapped. But she slipped that when your in the forest, time in the real world stops! So, we know from episode 5 that when Ramil erases a memory, you get nose bleeds. Punn had nosebleeds at the start. But he started remembering more of the night during episode 5. And now we just learned that he uses his painting to transport to different places. Spoilers if you haven't watched!! My thoughts are this:
Another clan of vampires went to the orphanage. Ramil, having healing powers, went to try to save people (aka, saved Punn). He tried to erase the memory of the vampires who killed the orphanages, but probably didn't have enough power to erase everything (hence why Punn remembers the necklace). Since he was worn out, the lady who trapped him took him at that time. So maybe she was the one who sent the clan of vampires to lure Ramil to use his powers so that he could be trapped. Since he's the leader of his clan, that would leave space for another clan to take power possibly. Since time stops when he's in the forest, it probably felt like 100 years. But in fact, it was only 10?
And the lady at the lake said she only wove Punn and Ramil's story, so she must've put those visions in Punn's head to help him know Ramil's name. Which makes... no sense. Unless she was forced by someone to trap Ramil, and she wanted him out? That's where I'm a little confused.
I don't know. What do you guys think?? This series is making me so curious about what's going to happen!!
I was not aware of the game Pond had.... He is such a great actor. Part of me is sad that he doesn't do fixed…
has Pond stated that he doesn't want to have a fixed pairing? because that is such an amazing idea. as you said, shows his amazing acting more that way.
wow, episodes 3 and 4... man... I have no words. Such beauty. Such pain. Never has a series made me cry this much since Until We Meet Again. Just amazing acting all around. This series deserves a lot of credit.
i'm being very serious... why do people like this drama so much? like... the first plot of Wei Wei being straight, then it felt very sudden that he liked Chi Cheng... then the weird jealousy arc happened and I just was.... so lost.
And as I've stated before, I hate how this show treated Xiou Shuai's past trauma. I don't know... Should've honestly dropped it after the jealousy arc, but curiosity got the best of me. People kept raving about how good this series was.
The only really good part was Wei Wei's amazing acting with his mom passing away. Wei Wei's mom was amazing. That's the only storyline that actually made me cry and feel some sort of emotion that wasn't rage.
okay I need to rant about how messed up episode 20 is. I just finished watching it. Doesn't Wei Wei and Chi Cheng know about Xiao's past with his teacher sexually assaulting him?? And they are pushing him to have sex; heck, even trying to coerce him into having sex when he's not ready?
Also, when Xiao went over to Cheng Yu's place after the power outage, Cheng Yu freaking went into his bubble multiple times on the bed. Like Xiao went to his place to feel safe after having a panic attack of some sort. If my man was trying to touch me like that, I'd drop him in a heartbeat! They try to make him the good guy when he then said, "don't worry, I won't do anything". Like... how is Xiao supposed to believe you if you were touching him when he said stop multiple times!
This story treats Xiao's past trauma poorly and it makes me so mad. Like am I the only one?! This seems so unhealthy to me....
Short and simple. But also came with a lot of knowledge! It was interesting to learn about a province in Thailand and how things go. Has an underlying message of listening to your heart and so on. Even though it was short, I highly recommend it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the series, and I'm not trying to pick fights. But I'm the only one who is uncomfortable…
i see what you mean but I think WSW was trying to 'show' he was okay. he's strong headed. I wish in a way CC would've helped but he doesn't seem like the kind of guy right now. So it seemed in character for me. Do I like it? No... not really.
there is so many time jumps. i got confused in the second episode not knowing we were in present when they were talking to the teacher. also side note... How the heck did Krist not age... like at all?? TT^TT but after I kinda figured it out, I'm hooked on this series. Can't wait to see where this goes. KristSingto really has not lost their charm
*sigh* after watching Fourever You, Johan and North were one of my favorite on screen couples of the last few…
I totally get it wasn't perfect, but I personally think it fit. Johan was constantly working in Fourever You (his maid said he's been working non-stop to support North in the future). Johan's been emotionally cut off relationship wise. He used to be a player. He's still learning. Plus, he was going off of his dad's advice. (yes, it got over-played near the end; but I think they were saying he was buying things North didn't want. He finally learned what he wanted and helped him towards getting that goal). North was always somewhat of a slacker and full gamer. Even in Fourever You we barely saw him go to classes. But they only had two episodes. They couldn't have North go to work and add all his friends as well as plot. Love isn't going to be perfect. Them having a disagreement was actually refreshing, showing Johan really wanted to make things right... just didn't know how to resolve things...
Not saying your opinion is wrong. Glad you have standards. Makes different series interesting for everyone. I just was trying to explain it how I saw it. You should totally try episode 2. They act more lovey-dovey and go on dates and such. very adorable. less 'drama'
how was this only two episodes?!?! TT^TT and how did this go so fast?!?! their chemistry is so on point. you just melt into the show and forget everything.
tbh im a little dissapointed in this. i liked it, added a bit of cuteness to the story. but then they had Fah propose to Teerak.... to then get it changed to a promise ring (which, I get but also come on...) Also, again RAKS FRIENDS ARE LITERALLY THE WORST! They couldn't keep the surprise b-day party a secret in episode 1 but they could keep the 'proposal' a secret?!?!?! like WHAT?! god they annoy me so much :/
Secondly, Real and Hia literally had... like... no scenes?? We don't get to see them together as a couple....
Third, Lee and Klai were adorable, but we ended off with their relationship with... them holding hands? huh?! i mean, its cute. Their relationship was literally the reason why I kept watching this show but like... hawefiawpoiem. THAT'S IT???
so, yes... it was cute and fun. but also just so dang disappointing TT^TT
Yes!! They do, and not sure how many eps you've watched so far but the gratuitous NC content goes down quickly…
okay real spoilers, if anyone was reading these:
OMG why did Phop have to dieeeee TT^TT nooooo that was so sad. second OMG the twist of Zoey's sex issue was way out there. Did not see that coming. I feel so bad for Zoey, but why'd he have to trust Lee over his other plan of sending Nont to America? Like that was a perfect plan. TT^TT awopeifmaw this series got me so invested and it just ENDS?!?! like THIS? you weren't lying with this being so investing. But damn I wanted answers.

Zoey's pairing and PuoAub right now. used to like CaptainCoach but that went south :'( i appreciate no spoilers. i'm just trying to figure out what the heck is going onnnnn
