I don't see how it was a "waste" or how "the writer" can be blamed for anything other than writing an interesting romance story. Min Ho had the love and affection of Bo Young and treated it as if it was of no value at all. Now he's suffering for that mistake. His whole character arc is like a parable, a warning example to the audience. Without spending screen time on him we wouldn't get the lesson.

I know Minho is a jerk, but I don't like Dr. Ye either. He joined the trip just because Bo Young was there, and…
Doc Ye's entirely goal when he transferred hospitals was to keep everyone at arm's length. He didn't *want* to be friends with anyone. His love for Bo Young is what's changing that. Sure it's a flaw, but it's a benign one, and understandable considering his backstory.

i dont pity minho, he's a jerk. he blames bo young for "giving him false hope" when she didn't even ask to be…
I mean, it's so weird and unusual for Min Ho to behave like an immature, emotionally stunted child... :P

Was it when he was being sooooo obvious? LOL! "I carefully controlled my emotions" pfffft! Seriously, how have…
LOL, yes! When he was drawing those hearts and didn't notice the Chief trying to get his attention, and then he jerks his head up with that blank look on his face. I was almost crying laughing.

What don't you like about it? Too perfect?
I heard 14 is really bad. Only just finished 13 last night.

Lee Joon Hyuk was *so hilarious* in these last two episodes! I never would have thought he could do comedy so well but my wife and I were rolling at his antics.

Minho line still, though I don’t think it’s possible anymore..I really wish I could like Ye-Woo ship.

am I the only one who knew that Dr. Ye was the male lead the moment he was introduced?
Definitely. Dozens of dramas introduce the first lead first and he's terrible and full of flaws, then they introduce the second lead later and he's perfect but ends up getting rejected anyway. I was completely fooled.

How was it guys? Is it worth the watch for a chill, comedy drama?
One of the best first episodes I have seen in many months. We'll see if it keeps up this incredible pace.

Is Jang Hyuk going to be the second lead in this drama? Hope not. As much as I enjoyed Junho in Chief Kim and…
I don't always agree with SausageDaddy, but he's 100% correct here. I wasn't sure why JH would agree to this role when it didn't seem like, on paper, it was a First Lead. But after watching the first episode it's obvious that it doesn't matter at all whether his character gets the girl or anything. What matters is how good the character is, and this character is amazing. In only one episode he's already built this hilarious and fascinating character that is bursting with potential.

If JH only wanted to try something different and flex his muscles a bit (let's be honest, his roles in Beautiful Mind and Money Flower were pretty similar) then he made the right choice to do this drama.

Wok of Love sounds so generic though lol Greasy Melo sounds much better.
IDK, "Greasy Melo" sounds gross and "Wok of Love" sounds hilarious. However, you have a Jo Ji Ah avatar so you clearly have excellent taste. Perhaps you're right.

CS: Can you get married later? SW:Why ? CS:Getting a divorce is hard xD Sp: don’t go,I’ll make you a bowl…
I'll be honest, I kinda feel the same! Usually never this excited after only the first episode. Jang Hyuk makes everything better, but Jung Ryeo Won is a revelation. Killer smile!

Maybe the second-most-overrated drama I have ever seen, but still pretty good!

I want to watch this because KSR is one of my favorites but I'm really stunned at just how much people are hating this. Maybe this should move to "On Hold".

You are clearly a person of excellent, discerning taste.

What's the closest comparison to any dramas anyone has watched? I wanna try it, but I'm afraid to waste time.
Few human beings have ever been more incorrect about something as Vui256 is about this show. Sure it stretches believability at times, but not in a bad way. In fact, in an extremely perfect and wonderful way. This is my third-favorite kdrama of all time. Please watch it.

Where to watch it?
Dramafever. It's cute and sweet and one of my all-time favorites. But I can see from your list that you're not big on simple fluffy romcoms so don't expect too much.

Dang it. Been really wanting to see Han Bo Reum as a lead but definitely don't want to watch an entire show about child abuse. Blech.

bong bong- min min is more than enough for this to get an 8.8. they are that adorable.
Almost. Almost.
Someone needs to make a supercut of only the Bong/Min stuff with literally everything else in the entire show removed. That would be a perfect mini-drama.
