Hmm I do think this drama has some of these elements but not too prominent imo I totally get you tho since I'm not a fan of it either but ig as a drama fan I've just gotten used to it because it's so common. I don't think you'd go wrong with this being your first weekender but only if you do like family/multiple couple tropes in general

Could you give examples of what you mean with dorky comedy? To me the comedy is fun and nothing too exaggerated except maybe the sweet talk between the first main couple can feel cringy but love always has those moments especially with them being in their honeymoon phase haha. But yeah like I mentioned the hairdresser scenes which seems to be comic relief but really isn't is my only dislike of the show. I'd say check it out if you're into family weekend dramas!

Yeah about the timejump it would definitely be way too soon for anything to happen between them so I do hope it'll be a slower ride like the other reply said. And for the misunderstanding it's frustrating if they will drag it on so I hope it gets cleared up soon. For me I'm most curious about seri and the single dad their recent interaction with the daughter was adorable!

Caught up yesterday and I'm enjoying it a lot so far very excited to follow this journey all the way through! The only other weekend drama I've seen is My Father is Strange which I loved as well but it's been a while. I do have to say my only major dislike so far is the hairdresser plot, it's actually ridiculous that they will probably end up together... She needs to see a therapist instead

Nah the summary makes it sound too tame for what is actually shown in the trailer it's not just her selling saliva but more like the act of her spitting into people's mouth which I did NOT see coming

Yeah I just wanted to chime in and say that definitely not everyone loved it from the start it's just that now the drama ended I left my review

I mean even without the controversy this was never a good drama to me except for the first 2 episodes maybe. Me and my friend watched it together weekly and we thought it was just bad but entertaining enough and then the last episode just made it go from bad to awful. Like a wattpad story that went all over the place horribly executed. Positive points for me is that I really liked chae soo bin's portrayal of her role and thought the 2 supporting characters were cute but that was it honestly

uhm yeah this whole show is a mess, started with potential that went completely nowhere and what even was that final episode... i feel offended as a viewer like wow don't remember an ending as ridiculous as that even excluding the insensitive "fictional" news report but yeah stay away unless you want to spend your time on a kdrama that is below mid like seriously a 8.7 rating? more like 4/10 if you ask me

Unfortunate that the only quality I can find makes the drama look like it's from 2004, if anyone has better raws please let me know

Felt the exact same way

This show felt like watching a train wreck. Neither of the main leads are likeable but I was entertained for the most part until the last episodes which was unbearable. I actually started this because of the news of the actors getting married but I personally didn't sense any of that chemistry on screen
