Yeah it is disturbing. I’m 25 now and the older I get the more it creeps me out. I could never feel romantically or lust over someone years younger than me, even a 20 year old feels very underdeveloped to me because that’s how I was at that age too. I can totally understand teenagers defending KSH since they probably don’t realize yet what is wrong with it. But seeing many adult women being on his side is immensely disappointing especially given all the evidences.

You're missing one important evidence. He sent her love letters from military while she was 17. When that came out his agency's statement was that he'd often write those kind of letters to acquaintances. The content was things among "I miss you" etc. Do you truly believe a 29 year old man will write that to a teenager just because they're acquaintances?

Well him and his agency have now admitted to them having been in a relationship which they kept denying at first. Their relationship started when Sae Ron was 15 and Kim Soo Hyun 27. Agency came out stating she was of legal age when their relationship started but there are hard evidences against it. MDL is not showing any of it unfortunately. There's a mega thread on Reddit for those that are curious.

Alright and what about an article showing all the evidences that proof that most of these statements are a lie. He denied their relationship before, then the pictures got exposed and then they had no choice but to admit it. Also reminder that Kim Soo Hyun owns the agency. These kind of comments are seriously tiring. The amount of evidence that has come out proving of him at least definitely having been in a relationship with her since she was a minor is all that is needed to know. I really don’t get why you people are still giving this man the benefit of the doubt.

I rarely get involved with celebrity news either. With everything that came out how could it not stand out when we’re talking about the most paid actor in South Korea with his inmense popular filmography. My Love From The Star was my first favorite kdrama as a 17 year old as well. Seeing people still question or defend him has been very frustrating that even I ended up getting involved in the comments which I usually never do. Pretty privilege really takes you this far. I highly doubt anyone would jump on his boat like this if he was not remotely conventionally attractive.

Same here. It took my teenage years being in the kpop/kdrama fandom to fully process how much there is wrong with the culture. I got really put off by it all and now I just don’t follow celebrities anymore. Never forget that we don’t know these people beyond what’s shown to us. Being a fan of someone’s work or admiring their talent and their visuals is fine but do it in moderation especially because you’ll never get to know them truthfully for who they are.

I respect your guys views on this but I think this is a topic where people will have many differentiating opinions. I personally don’t care for a life of someone who’s done something like this.

I absolutely agree with everything you wrote here except the assumption of thinking everyone jumped to a conclusion with the current situation. This is really one of the cases where the evidence is very clearly evident and that’s why I’m surprised by these sort of comments. I’m not sure if you kept up with all the information that has come out because then I can understand the doubt, but hearing Kim Soo Hyun’s side won’t resolve anything since most perpetrators don’t admit their wrongdoings especially if they’re a public figure
