I've only seen Non in the live action of Princess Jellyfish and now this. Heard a lot about her because of her role in Amachan and so I got curious about her comeback but as someone who isn't familiar with her most well known role (yet) she fails to impress me. I'll definitely get to Amachan at some point, but the vibe I'm getting from her is that she excelled in that role but that she's just an okay actress outside of it. I thought Yamazaki Hirona was the one who stood out here the most instead.
i read spirit fingers completely while it was coming out- lowkey scared off watching this and havingmy good memories…
Same here, I read the webtoon while it was ongoing and loved it at the time. I was 19 then and I'm 25 now. The kdrama does a great job bringing the webtoon to live. It definitely lacks some depth but they got the characters and the vibes just right. Maybe it's because I also read the webtoon but it's made me feel nostalgic and I even feel like rereading the webtoon now. It's worth checking out for sure!
This is not a new drama, why are they marketing it as such?
Late reply but this drama's release had been pushed back many years because of the scandal of the lead actress. Japan also had the rights and were the first one to release it that's why it was available to the public but in Korea they only started broadcasting it this year
Thought it was a cute movie but the last half hour dragged too long and their scenes together were almost non existent which was disappointing. At least we got some crumbs from the behind the scenes footage at the end of the movie but I'm still dissatisfied.
Don’t hesitate to give this a try if you enjoy a more realistic narrative with flawed characters and a slice of life feel that exudes healing, comfort and warmth. Definitely targeted towards a mature audience, this is a really refreshing drama coming from China that’s now the best modern Chinese drama I’ve seen to date. Thanks to my friend for the recommendation :)
