I’m on ep 15, seems like the story totally dropped the ball regarding the Nanwu Saintest plot. Does it become important again later?
I’m enjoying this drama but I feel like Jiang Si’s actions toward the ML in this life don’t seem quite right, when she thought he supposedly kill her in the last life. I don’t know, if I thought someone killed me in my last life, I would probably show more hesitation, caution, have more complicated feelings toward this person instead of all this simple lovey dovey emotions Jiang Si is exhibiting.
Jiang Si seems pretty passive when she is supposed to roughly know what is about to happen in the future, and also know that the main villains are the royal princess and daughter in her last life. In this life, she still has time and energy to go sightseeing in Liangshui……instead of figuring out and plotting how to counter the upcoming attacks from the villains, which are definitely coming.
Wow, I just binged 11 eps in one day. I honestly wasn’t expecting much since it wasn’t super publicised or has a high budget compared to other shows in recent months, but the engaging plot, cinematography and acting have been so good! Hope it stays good till the end!
Gosh, I wished the FL was dubbed here. Her lines delivery is so flat and unnatural, jolts me out of the story every time she talks. Everyone else in the drama sounds so natural, except unfortunately the FL. I’m at ep 21 btw, love the story so I’ll keep watching but the FL needs some voice lessons.

I’m at ep 25 and I still can’t see any chemistry between the ML and FL. The ML has more chemistry with Ah Lan and even with Ni Ting Er Xing than with the FL. And it doesn’t help that the scriptwriter made the FL so annoying and weak, with her perpetually whining “Ah Gou”. I’m powering tru the episodes as I enjoy seeing the ML’s journey to battle Hei Long but I wish there was no romance instead. I’m usually a fan of romance in costume dramas but the romance here seems so unbelievable..
Wow.. probably the most satisfying ending I have seen in a C-drama in a long long time. I'm sad now that this amazing drama has ended.. What am I gonna watch now.. *cries*
Gosh, editing is a mess in ep 42.. don’t understand why the drama wasted so much time on the frivolous Na Sheng scenes and rushed all the fight scenes. We don’t even get to see much of how the lord Shi Peng was killed or how Yu Huan took over the city except in like 10 seconds of flashback.
Wow, just binged this over the last 3 days. This is a masterpiece. One of the best drama plots I have seen in years! The drama is near perfect (I could nitpick at some minor issues but hey nothing is perfect. Lol)..

Wish I could erase my memories of this show and watch it all over again without knowing all the twists. It’s sooooo good. And I’m totally in love with Lee Seung Gi’s acting, he’s phenomenal..
