I didn't get part where he didn't get job whats with Tak??
Tak is the surname/family name (like "Kim"). The girl who was interviewing alongside him got the job because she's related to the owner of the company.
CGI is pretty good for a kdrama. Hoping for zero romance. Overall, a solid pilot episode
Kdramas do well with CGI except when jtbc and tvn produces them. Those two channels seem to use such mediocre CGI (Jirisan, Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter, Hwayugi, CLOY etc. to name a few, they all have such laughable effects as if some animation school dropout made it).
A bit cause it's focused on people who are at risk to commit suicide, but the first episode was more on the comedy…
This is comedy. It's not dark at all, it's heavy thematically but there's a LOT of comedy in it. Ambiance wise it's like HDL so far, lots of comedy with a heavy overarching story.
First episode was interesting to say the least. It has a lot of potential and so far I really like the characters too. Hopefully they don't go the Mystic Pop Bar route and keep the quality by the end.
There's no other way to say this but this was B A D. It was so rushed, story made very little sense, it was badly edited, really bizarrely directed and Jiseok was such a creepy character. It was more incoherent than some art house films.
Also, #TeamDojin all the way. If there's a S2 (unlikely) they better do HW x DJ. Jiseok doesn't deserve any 2nd chance. I'm glad that everyone is also on Dojin's side.
I did not start watch this yet because I've read the book, but I'm super disappointed to hear this. Maybe all…
Green wasn't just annoying, he was toxic. He invaded privacy and he was stalking Tine (which is also illegal). He was physically invasive toward Tine, which many could consider sexual harassment. That's the point I'm trying to make. Asian BLs generally portray feminine gay guys as caricatures with no personality and they're all stereotypically invasive of other people's privacy and borderline deviants.
I hate multiple couple, type dramas but gonna watch Roj Jeong hi's scenes 😌
Multiple couple dramas have really good dynamics between leads though? Run On (the two ML bromance + the two FL sismance are the highlights), Romance is a Bonus Book (the bromance between LJS and WHJ's characters is superb + the 2nd couple is amazing), etc. are prime example of it. And recently, Business Proposal. Both the couples are so good.
On the novel, Nadya ia a tall, muscular but very feminine gay dude. His plot is cause all other masc gays expect…
That's not completely true. In the book, Mayom completely disappears before the two start dating as he pulls the classic "I'm not good enough for you and you deserve better" on Nadia.

Honestly? I was kinda in the same boat as you, I didn't like the change but the more I watch this the more okay I am with this change. The actress is doing a nice job as Nadia and Nadia x Mayom dynamic in the drama feels good. And honestly, I'm a bit glad they changed it too in retrospect because Thai BLs are known to portray guys who are flamboyant/feminine in a very negative light (one of the prime example being Green in 2gether series). So they just avoided that problem by changing Nadia to a woman.
The more I watch this, the more I realise that changing Nadia from a guy to a girl wasn't that bad of a decision as everyone made it to be pre-airing. I really like the chemistry between Nadia and Mayom. I very much prefer this Mayom over the actor they cast before the casting changes.
Am I the only one who wants to watch the drama that Taemu's grandpa watches lmao It looks like a hilarious makjang. They need to make it into a full drama with the same actors.
Gee there are 1000 other shows with none in it.
Just a change of perspective.
