I thought I was the only person tht didn’t like cloy
You're not. It's actually disliked by many due to how badly written and overrated it is. It's a classic example of all star power, no substance type of drama.
Gangnam ID started off good, but then it lost its way and focused too much on romance + the ML wasn't likeable to begin with only to be worsened by Eunwoo's expressionless performance.
CLOY is defo one of the worst Kdrama I've seen in my life periodt. It's a farce, a farce with eye candies and lukewarm performances. I especially had my soul dying during the parachute scene in IIRC episode 4. The whole drama's basically reminiscent of badly written and made South Indian movie.
I also agree with Enny's view on A Girl and 3 Sweetheart loool it's such a cliched drama and the characters are highly unlikeable.
I like the FL because I hate kids and juvenile offenders too lmao
In all seriousness, the way laws worldwide gives pass to juvenile offenders despite the severity of the crimes. For e.g one of the offender in the Delhi Gang Rape was a juvenile but the law gave him a hard pass and he never got punished to the full extent of the law and now he's out living the good life after only 3 years at a juvenile centre.
The small colourist scene in the 1st episode bugged me tbh it's 2022. When will Asians ditch the discrimination against darker skinned people.
Anyway, I actually understand why Lian feels the way he does tbh I wouldn't wanna marry someone who puts up a facade and never acts genuinely toward me either. If only Kuea stopped hiding himself behind a facade. I do wonder though, if something happened in his past that made him act the way he does toward Lian. Still a good BL so far, the production quality is good and it really feels better made than standard GMMTV BL.
physically they're not like in the book but, I like the casting.I think this demonstrates how important a decent…
Indeed. Mork is inquisitive and is borderline impetuous in the books and I'm glad they maintained those traits in him without making him feel like a caricature. They nailed his characterisation. Such a likeable character.
This show doesn't have high budget, but it's significantly better than even higher budget BLs out there. Highly impressed. I was worried during pre-production stage when it was having problems and lost a good chunk of its cast members but I'm glad that they were able to make it this good. Two leads are very well cast. I knew from the first time I saw Fluke as Mork after reading the book that he was perfect but I wasn't completely sold on Fame as Tawan but now I'm impressed after watching this. He indeed resembles the Tawan from the book.
loool this was pretty predictable top 10 xD Esp the top 3.
* Song Wei Long seems to be someone who's more sensible when choosing scripts and seems to prioritise quality over quantity compared to his peers. So I'm anticipating his future dramas esp the one with Jing Boran (who's one of my faves!).
* I'm so sad that there's not a lot of Deng Lun we'll see in the coming months :/ He seems to be more into variety shows these days for some reason. I hope he'll return to doing dramas and movies soon. I ESPECIALLY want to watch his movie with Krystal (who's one of my all time fave idol).
* Gong Jun's rise to stardom still surprises me tbh I've seen him since Advance Bravely days and I'd never have expected him to have such a robust rise tbh
This is VERRRYYYY GOOD... And this is coming from a person who doesn't usually enjoy THAI BLS because their stories…
You should read the novel as well then because the novel is excellent. Well written and avoids problems that usually plague Thai BL books. Lots of focus on mutual respect. Mork is one of the most sensible leads ever in a Thai BL.
