That's such an unnecessary comment. Like not liking his character is fine but why must you attack him for his looks even.

The synopsis is wrong. Only the Minwoo-Maru part is correct lol the other two storyline play out differently.

Anyway, I'd have liked a full series with Minwoo x Maru where Maru grovels for Minwoo's love tbh I'm a sucker for the "unrequited love for BFF who is possessive of you" trope and their storyline is just that. Sadly it felt too short and it didn't have much angst. I wanted to see Maru be more jealous and possessive of Minwoo as he realises his own feelings for Minwoo after the latter starts seeing other people. I wanted that grand "You are mine!" scene where Maru confesses his feelings in a burst of jealousy. I'm so sad :(

I think this should've been a 12 ep drama with 4 eps dedicated to each storyline. That'd have made it so much better.

I'm sorry but Taemin is my fave chr tbh he's a nice guy who's just stuck in a terrible way lol he's defo on Taeha and esp Yeonwoo's side. I just want a happy ending for my boy

Oh the ageism here is nowhere near as bad as the OG one (esp since that ver had only a 33 yo FL) lol the Ageism in this ver is very realistic tbh because Asians are defo like this esp toward women. I've seen it happen way too often irl

In the og version, Cong Xiao x Chang Huan pairing was a highlight from mid-way onward. The way Chang Huan's sincerity causes Cong Xiao to fall in love with him in the OG was top tier romance. I'm disappointed this ver doesn't have that :(

Yeah the change in Shane's characterisation wasn;t smooth at all here. In the og Song Weilong's chr was always laidback so the change felt smooth. It was rather abrupt here.

Nope. I don't like that drama or that character (esp early on).

Jing Boran and Tang Song Yun... lord their chemistry was SO SO sizzling. And Jing Boran, the more I watch him in dramas the more I fall for him. He's SOOOOOOOOOOO charismatic and to top it off he's such a good actor too. One of the BEST in Cdrama industry rn no question asked.

It's a adaptation not an original and the love triangle in the OG isn't dragged or annoying.

The original Chinese version as no cheating between the leads but the FL's best friend's husband cheats on her in it. Though I don't think this ver will have that storyline tho.

I've seen the Chinese version and I liked it. I don't understand some of the choices they made here. Like the increased age gap between the characters, not to mention they seemed to have aged them up too??
