Putting this on hold. Hyosim's just too much of a fking pushover. Like I cba anymore for the moment. Ep 22 was a messy, annoying FILLER with ZERO plot progression whatsoever. My patience has run out for now.
The hag mother, TM's mother, TM, Sookyung, the Grandmother, the annoying landlady, the brothers, SIL. Like they're all PISSING me off SO badly. I've seen a LOT of these weekend 50 ep dramas and even daily 120 ep dramas but never have I seen a drama where not a SINGLE character outside of the 2 leads and the kids are likeable. This is the first and the only family drama so far where I hate every single character except for the 2 leads (AND the kids + Mirim).
I'll continue this once Hyosim grows some fucking spine and disowns her family.
"White washed humin" Y'all just be saying anything atpFirst of all "Whitewashing" is used when you cast a WHITE…
That's not called whitewashing. Stop twisting definition of words to fit your ideas. I never said colourism (yes that IS colourism) does not exist in SK. It absolutely exist, but it does not fit in this context at all.
I know how Humin looks like. Saying Ryeoun is as white as sheet compared to Humin is the exaggeration of the year. The man is very tan, like I said, go watch him in Adult Trainee if you want to see him with his actual complexion. Speaking bilingual does not make him biracial, it's like saying I'm half-Korean because I speak Korean even though I'm from South Asia.
It's also the fact that sometimes dramas that are packed full with star power usually suck because the writer/director think star power is enough to carry a drama.
Not sure how i feel about the cast :(. Were is the rest of my boys? They better not cut them out. Also, not sure…

First of all "Whitewashing" is used when you cast a WHITE PERSON in a role that's originally a person of colour. Secondly, Ryeoun literally has a tan complexion. Also "don't even look hunky". Get your eyes checked please or go watch Adult Trainee.
Yes. I love the cast of the Heirs (Altho I'm not a fan of LMH) even though I'm not a fan of the drama itself. I'd love to see a reunion! Or them pairing up for different dramas! Imagine a sismance drama with PSH, Krystal and KJW!
Cannot do this anymore. Dropping it. One of the absolute worst BL I've EVER seen. The production is completely fine, but everything else is SO BAD. Esp Yim's acting and the writing.
I think Soo Kyung (TV Anchor) has decided to walk away from TM. There is no reason for her to tarnish her career…
Yeah the Wicked Witch is defo scheming to twist TM's arm into marrying CSK. I think CSK will likely agree to marrying him as well because it benefits her parents, but atp I don't think she's actively gonna pursue though. So I actually don't think she's conspiring with the Mum esp since they don't seem to like each other much in the first place. But I could be wrong.
I think CSK is more nuanced character than just the chaebol princess tbh Esp after her talk with TM at the end of the ep 20. She actually seems to have self respect and isn't ready to throw her self dignity away completely over a man who doesn't even want her.
