I agree. Outside of Twinkling WM and Moving, I haven't liked any other Kdrama much this year.

The Grandma-Barista fillers and the Ryu Shi Oh's bland ass character ruined the show tbh it could've been better if it was just another serial killer/kidnapper drama like the first one. The jokes here were unfunny as hell as well. Oh god and they're making a 3rd part. Good grief.

Park's Marriage Contract was good for the first 2 eps. NGL I kinda wanted to watch the Saegeuk part more, Lee Seyoung suits historicals so much.

My Demon was disappointing to say the least. Kim Yoojung was great but that's it.

"Out of her control" is taking agency from her and painting as her some helpless old woman which she absolutely was not. Let's not forget she was a powerful woman before TM's mother and Yeom schemed to locked her up. She had a huge number of powerful people as her allies and she still does (Sookyung's father for e.g). This is exactly the reason they locked her up because they knew they couldn't get their hands on the company because she'd prevent them. She was a terrible mother and let toxicity thrive under her house and watch and that's a fact. Also wanting to get rid of TM just because he's not her actual grandson makes her even worse of a person.

I've disliked her ass since the revelation came out that she let her husband abuse her children and did nothing to stop it and even encouraged the toxic family dynamics between her sons. Shitass mother and person. Just like Taemin's mother.

Hyosim's mum is the worst imo because she pretends to be good while draining the life out of Hyosim. Like that's worse than outright evilness imo

This show left feeling hesitant tbh like I was going back and forth between "OMG CUTE" to "wtf sexual harassment!" T_T I wish the writer made Shunyu more reciprocal in their interactions so it didn't come off so sexual harassy. I mean I liked how the GM fell for the young assistant hard and early but it took Shunyu forever to reciprocate those feelings.

They didn't develop her relationship with her mother well in the first season so it defo needed an extension if not a S2 tbh So imo this is one of the justified second season.

Pls stop typecasting her as the unlikeable bitchy SFL -.-
