They look hot but the villain is so creepy and nasty I don't wanna ship him with anyone except death or prison. Instead I'll ship her with the ML. The FL can stay single until she mentally ages and starts acting like an actual adult instead of a toddler.
I'm rewatching this because I need SugaMone in my life again. We need more dramas with a couple like them. One of the healthiest depiction of romance ever tbh
wait wasn't this at 8.8, now 8.0, what happened???
The show is a trainwreck, that's what happened. Writing is absolutely horrendous and the characterisation of the FL is so bad that it completely ruins her chemistry with anyone. Both the ML and the villain has palpable chemistry with the FL's mother more than her due to this.
Oh dropping it for real now. It keeps getting worse. Like writing is absolutely non-existent atp I mean even the OG one didn't have the best writing but it was actually really fun to watch despite that. But this one is just a complete mess. The FL has such terrible characterisation, a full grown adult acting as if she's 12 yo is NOT cute. They keep wasting screen-time on filler BS like that grandmother-barista storyline (yes that's filler BS because it's so outrageously unrelated to the main story). And oh lord the villain is boring. Outside of his looks he literally has nothing going on for him in this drama,he has the same predatory expression the whole time he appears on screen. At least the villain in the first one actually showed range of emotions. In this one he just stares at everyone like he wants to violate them.
I know rating it 1.5/10 is harsh but I am especially pissed at this show for ruining something with so much potential.
I liked the scene bc Taemin finally apologized for the whole car thing in a way, but i was 😬 the whole time…
Yes I understand it'll get dirty initially in these type of drama. But I'm hoping the writer subverts expectations and tropes and wraps up that antagonism sooner rather than later and lets the two brother come to an understanding. I liked how the writers of Chocolate handled this, they let the two brothers fight it out initially but come to an understanding and shifted the focus of their resentment toward the elders in the family. I want that to happen here as well. They need to get over their ingrained competitiveness and toxicity and turn on family because that's one hell of a toxic family with a cycle of abuse that goes back to the Grandparents.
Your POV makes no sense. You watch an Adult rated drama and then complain over adult topics being exposed. If you don't feel comfortable with it then don't watch A/18+ rated dramas.
OMG same, Love O2O made no sense to me (and yes WHY did they fall in love ??? cuz they are pretty cutouts? lol),…
LOL A lot of these popular Kdramas are very Bollywood-esque, I die a little inside watching them T__T
Yep, they expect the looks and star power of their actors + the high quality production to carry the drama basically. It works initially but as you watch, the luxury fades and it just ends up being boring and mediocre af This is why these days I avoid a lot of shows jam packed with Korean A-listers (Moving is the only exception of recent times tbh, that show was amazing).
YES! That's what I mean. Jdramas have this organic, cosy, homely production feel to it, it's soothing af (unless it's one of those darker dramas) ESP Asadoras, those shows are like soooo soothing. I used to watch asadoras before sleeping because they calmed me down LOL Jdramas in general also have really good, unique writing which is why a lot of countries borrows their formulas.
Kleeun Cheewit is the Thai ver of Secret right? You mean that drama with Jisung and Hwang Jung Eum? I loved that drama. I actually think Penthouse was also makjang done right, it was ridiculous over the top but it was done right. It got worse after S1 though, so sad.
The scene with Tae Min and Tae Ho was my favorite. Tae Min resents the fact that Tae Ho's father allowed Tae Ho…
Bingo. I agree fully. I believe the same. I hope the writer doesn't force Taemin into the typical villain role in future episodes and explores these nuances instead. Allowing him to develop out of this chokehold properly. Taemin and Hyosim are similar people, both have immense loyalty toward their family and high sense of duty to the point that they sacrifice their own happiness for it so they make a terrible couple tbh Hopefully Taemin wakes up and sees it and instead finds someone suitable for him.
I'm gonna keep watching as well because I really like Hajoon here but if they butcher the characters I might drop it just like TRHC.

These are the Kdramas rated 9+ between 2022-till now.

There are 7 dramas.
Also just because you don't like a drama doesn't mean it deserves to rated lower than you think.
