I don’t know why companies do this?? Or is it that Thai audience love shows like this? When I saw the trailer…
Same thoughts here. I had a REALLY bad feeling since Bed Friend. My expectations were very low but my lord they went below my already abysmal expectations. What makes this worse is the series is actually not even that hard to adapt. I mean the whole "set-up with Uea" thing could've been changed with an original character, but lordy lord what the fuck happened to Jade??? This is HORRENDOUS characterisation through and through.
Better than I expected. Went in expecting to be as bad as Ai Lhong Nai (I rly disliked Ping in it) but this is more enjoyable than I expected. Ping is better in roles like this. He was really unbearably annoying in ALN, but he's likeable here.
This was SO much worse than I expected it to be. The tore the book up into million pieces and spit and trampled on it and threw it in the dustbin. The amount of disrespect toward the source material. They absolutely ruined Jade. Jade in the book was a sensitive guy with lots of insecurity, what the fuck happened??? Why is he celebrating being called the "Middleman"??????? Mind you he did NOT like being one because of the fact that everyone approaches him with an ulterior motive to get close to his better looking friends or siblings. Absolutely turned him into a one dimensional caricature. Hated it. Worse BL of the year.
I dislike Go Yoon and Yeo Hwan. Both of them are so creepy with their lowkey stalking and Yeo Hwan is esp annoying because god that man can't take no for an answer. It's gross. I was enjoying this drama just fine until these stupid romance storylines.
I mean Lee Soohyuk and Kim Heesun's characters were in love in their past lives but it doesn't carry on to their current characters. Also there's a small hint at a future romance for Rowoon's character at the end but we never see it happen.
I'm torn on this tbh. While it wasn't wrong what the brat said it felt displaced? As if the writer needed to get…
I think the way she said it is very on brand for Rubi. Don't forget that she's a gen Z kid so she's much more progressive on what a women should be like than older generation. It doesn't have to be right but it has to be said. The villa landlord saying all this would feel much more out of place imo because older Koreans are crazy about "filial piety".
I don't like TH/TM's grandmother tbh She did nothing to prevent her husband from abusing one of her kids. She's just as bad as HS's mother and the SIL in my eyes. Favouritism toward one kid that causes family dynamics to break down seems to be a common theme in this drama.
Wait they still hate her?🤣And yes Ryeoun is really out doing him self in this drama..he's potrayal of emotions…
She's an interesting character and yeah she's really likeable too. And Seol In Ah's charm shines through her character really well.
I really liked him in Adult Trainee (his storyline was the highlight of that drama imo, the only likeable episodes) and Through the Darkness and yes he has improved since those dramas. He's defo one of my fave rising actors rn hope he gets lots of lead roles in the future.
I always says she's the funniest and my fav. This show won't be this entertaining and engaging without her. And…
Exactly! I love her interactions with all the characters. IDK how anyone could hate her.
It's not just the crying scene either. What I love the most about his performance here is the way he changes between wide array of emotions within seconds. THe way he goes from laughing to deadpan in seconds is so good.

She was getting hate here just until a few days ago so defo yes. Hopeless tbh lol
He isn't getting enough love for this tbh it's not just the emotional scenes either, his expression during other scenes are also>>>> like he'd be laughing one second but he'd go deadpan the next. Being able to switch between diff emotions in seconds is such a big weapon for actors.
I'M CRYING. Eunyu giving them the names of BTS songs XD this girl is a menace. I can't believe people actually hate her oof
I don't see a lot of people talking about Ryeoun's performance here tbh he's excellent here. The way he changes his expression in the blink of an eye is so good. I hope he gets more lead roles in the future.
It didn’t even started and you are already complaining 🤦🏻♀️ Before judging and jumping to the conclusions,…
It's a valid complaint. The good part about the book was Jade's personal insecurity which causes him to misunderstand Mai's intentions and feelings which leads him to try to set-up Mai with Uea multiple times over the book. Changing this entirely changes the plotline and at that point it's no longer an adaptation.
The trailer was bad imo like the production and the acting were fine but the story...oh the changes they made pains me. The book isn't even hard to adapt, yet they made such crucial changes. I'm so sad. The book is one of my fave BL books, I wish they kept the whole storyline the same as the book.
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon's main focus was Do Bong Soon herself, how Ahn Minhyuk (the ML) helps her as his boss…
Finally someone said it. The mother is a crappy mother. She shows clear favouritism toward one child and does everything to ignore the other child. That's an abusive dynamic.
And as someone who's dropping this, I did not expect this to be anything like DBS. I imagined a family drama about 3 generations of women fighting for justice. But the problem with this drama is it's very clumsily done. It's also dragged down by excess filler and the story threads are tied in such a bad way.
Also the fatphobic scenes I find really disturbing to see in such a liberal drama.

I loved this episode. Love love love the chemistry between both the couples. I hope nothing bad happens to anyone in the next few episodes though!
