What's meant to happen will happen. I'm not surprised the accident happened. I feel so bad for Eungyeol though. He has lived all his life in regret over the fire accident which is why he forced himself to sacrifice his own choice for his parents and now this.
On another note, I wish the writer spent some minutes showcasing Chungah's interaction with her father after the misunderstanding between them got cleared up. But oh well looks like we'll get it next episode.
The plot is not my cup of tea tbh I'm so awfully tired of revenge dramas due to the influx of those we've had this past 2-3 years. But I'm very excited to watch Kyungsoo play a villainous role. Oh he'd suit it so well esp with his death stare.
OMG same, Love O2O made no sense to me (and yes WHY did they fall in love ??? cuz they are pretty cutouts? lol),…
YangYang's acting is just... non-existent. He's popular because he's attractive and nothing else. Sorry not sorry XD and no he hasn't improved.
I watched DotS fully but yes it was underwhelming as hell. Goblin is just bad as well imo IDK but I feel like they make these drama as banal as possible and most of the episodes feel like fillers to me.
I don't watch a lot of Jdramas in general but the few ones I've watched, I really like the ambiance of Jdramas. They feel cosy? Compared to Kdramas.

omg exactly! Love O2O was SO BORING and SO CRINGE. I died a little inside whenever I saw the girls screamign and crying over Yangyang. The writing wasn't my only problem with it, the acting was non-existent. The show was basically eye candy (the only one doing actual acting as Bai Yu) and nothing else.
CLOY had me CRINGING SO HARD. It was literally Bollywood movie in Kdrama format and as an Indian who watches Kdrama to escape from Bollywood, I died when I watched it.
Vincenzo had top notch acting but I got so bored that I dropped it and BoF was just... I wanted to punch every single chr including the FL (only one I liked was Kim Soeun's character).
I could name so many other super uber popular dramas I absolutely disliked or outright hated LOL
I personally have come to the conclusion that I just don't like 99% of the overhyped dramas. I hated Love O2O, I disliked CLOY, I disliked Vincenzo, I hated Boys Over Flowers, etc. etc.
Oh god the ep 15 got me so angry. The only highlight was the short interaction TH and HS had. I wanted to punch everyone else (except for Mirim ofc). I used to like Hyodo and Taehee and ship them, but lord I cannot stand either of them anymore. Selfish little gremlins, if they were my siblings I'd beat the shit out of them!
Edit: Watching Taemin and Taeho interactions in ep 15. They remind me of the two cousin brothers from Chocolate (the drama with Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kyesang). I'm at least 80% sure now that Taemin actually doesn't wanna do shit with the company but rather wants to live his own life with freedom (and pursue art) and is staying out of his loyalty toward his parents and due to his upbringing after being groomed to lead the company. Which is why I think he's jealous of Taeho, because unlike him Taeho was allowed to do whatever he wants and wasn't groomed to lead the company since he was a kid. I think these two need to talk the shit out like two brothers did in Chocolate.
Just binged 14 episodes in one sitting. I have high praise for this show; I haven’t loved a K-drama this much…
Oh same here. I started this show when it was around ep 9 and I binged it in one sitting. Like I had ZERO expectations going into it so I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I haven't liked a lot of Kdrama this year but I LOVED this.
I think it has to do with Taemin's year in jail. His whole life he's been pushed to be the company's next leader…
Agreed. I think people here seem to have this one dimensional idea of Taemin being selfish and evil. He's not. He's just someone caught between what he wants to do and what he wants to be and what he is expected to be. Hyosim is like an outlet for him, so he is grasping at straws to hold on to her despite it being unhealthy and toxic.
Even after 100eps…i am still confused whether to start this or not considering 100eps
Oh she's defo one of the stronger FL I've seen in a makjang. Like in the early episodes she defo gets pushed around but once she starts getting her revenge she becomes less of a pushover. My main problem with this was it got very very rushed near the end.

IDK depends on what you like. If you don't mind super annoying characters, over the top villains and melodramatic scenes then yes you'd enjoy this. It's basically a Korean telenovela (makjang).
