Hyosim pisses me off atp tbh Why can't she just ditch the family omg Am I the only one who has no interest in the romance in this drama? Atp I just wanna see Hyosim beat up and torture her stupid family. The pacing of this drama is absolutely abysmal. In older weekend dramas, by this time a lot of important plot points would be revealed (for e.g in Homemade Love Story, they revealed the identity of the FL's mother by this point, same with Once Again and the FL-ML separation) and it would be on its way to being solved but in this drama, we're still seeing almost no plot development. Hyosim going her own way? Not even anywhere near to it. Taeho's grandma's status being revealed? As if. Taehee's identity being revealed? Pfttt. The drama is going nowhere like????

I have been a PSH fan since I first saw him in Gonjiam Haunted Asylum lol then I watched Into the Ring and became a full on fan of his.
Junho's been my fave male idol for over a decade now and yesss his acting>>> Just Between Lovers is still one of my faves.

I'm honestly not a fan of any of the main cast members of that drama lol So I didn't even bother with S2 due to this.

MLs are almost ALWAYS scumbag. Most of them are sooo abusive and terrible to the FL. Indian dramas love to do that "abuser to lover" trope which I find disgusting as fuck.

Oh the Hospital Playlist romance doesn't develop until much later on in the show actually. I hated that pairing so much because there was no romantic chemistry between them :/

The 1k+ episode ones are the long running super hit dramas. Most dramas underperform though and end at ~200-300 eps lol

Yes lmao the male lead would be married to the FL but some dumb reason the writer would make the ML marry someone else as well. Usually the best friend or sister of the FL and that makes up a major plot point. I could name you like SO many Indian drama that has done this just recently. One of the worst aspect of this is the ML is generally a cheating scumbag and SO unlikeable.

Twinkling Watermelon (I adored this drama so much), the Good Bad Mother... and I can't remember lol I overestimated the number of dramas I loved this year LOL There was SO many dramas I was looking forward to this year but they just were so incredibly disappointing to say the least like Uncanny Counter S2 (dropped), Dr Romantic S3 (forced myself to finish it), Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon (dropped), A Time Called You (inferior to the original Taiwanese version) etc.
I was watching Not Others as well, I finished the ep 1 and put it on hold till it ends and then I started hearing only bad things about it.
King the Land was... absolutely Bollywood-esque lmao it was so cringe, their chemistry was great but so wasted. Even Junho couldn't save it.
I've seen Hospital Playlist, it's defo overhyped. It's a fun show but this one horribly forced romance storyline ruined the show for me esp because it made zero sense.

Oh I cannot do that at all. Even 1 hr long dramas is too much for me unless I'm incredibly interested in the drama lol and sometimes it takes me 1-2 days to finish 1 ep T_T

As much as I love this show it really wasted the younger cast tbh ESP Kim Dohoon. I wish it got a few more eps and they spent that time developing them esp Kanghoon's character because he literally got nothing the whole drama.

Indian dramas are not like Thai dramas at all. Thai dramas are more serious. Indian dramas on the other hand is like over the top, badly written, badly directed, badly edited mess. They're like telenovelas, if you've seen the LatAm/Filipino Telenovelas then you'd know how Indian dramas are like.

Also Indian dramas LOVE to recycle storylines, tropes and trends, so many Indian dramas are so similar to each other. Currently the Indian drama trend rn is love triangle (often bigamy, even tho it's illegal lmao) between a man and 2 sisters and the 2 sisters fight over the man like their life depend on it even though the man's usually toxic and a walking red flag.

Moving was really good. Top 3 of the year imo (altho this is not saying a lot because 2023 was a bad year for Kdrama imo I liked less than 5-6 dramas this yr LOL). The only problem I had with it was they put the younger characters in the backburner from mid-way onward and put the whole focus on the adults. This esp harmed Kim Do Hoon's character who was the least developed of the 3. But otherwise it was a thriller/sci-fi drama done well.

I'd honestly watch it if not for its length lol Every ep is the length of a full movie. I'm not a binge watcher so I'd die lol

The Penthouse should've ended at S1 but the producers tried to milk it and by the end it lost a chunk of its viewers as well.

Soonjung (the adoptive mother) is such a shitty person tbh she should've told them both the truth from the get go. She should've told Chaewoon about her birth mother as soon as she was mature enough to understand and she should've told Jung Won by seeking her out. IDC I don't like her. She's soo selfish for keeping the mother and daughter apart for her own selfishness. Did she think Chaewoon would abandon her as soon as she found out about her birth mother??? Like how fking low do you think of your own daughter even??? Chaewoon has proven her loyalty to her so many times already but this lady still didn't tell her about Jungwon like omg I'm so pissed off.
