First episode was cute.

I did not expect Ep 1 to turn that dark in the last 15 eps. Damn.

Nope. It was completely false and the woman behind it did it out of spite as a revenge.

She basically repeatedly cheated on him and then got pregnant. She wanted to abort the baby, he supported her before and after. But he eventually broke up with her due to her infidelity. So she decided to ruin his career as a revenge. Dispatch revealed a bunch of statements and conversations with them showing how terribly manipulative and abusive she was toward him.

My baby <3 Hope to see him in a new drama soon.

I watched it half way through, I quit because the drama wasn't very good and the psychological aspect of it felt completely off from its healing theme.

You Are My Spring is a psychological mystery thriller.

They didn't drag it at all. That's this drama's biggest pull, they don't drag problems at all. They resolve them all really fast. The communication between characters is really good.

You're not the only one. YS x HY just makes me cringe hard. Like it just feels sooooooooo off, YS feels like her big brother more than a lover to me. I don't like it at all lol

I think they're doing just fine personally. She's unlikeable as I expected but they've planted seeds of change here and there. I think SHJ is nailing the character really well to top it off.

They're not going for girl boss. They're aiming for her to be a selfish, jaded character with her own sets of principles. If you've seen Witch's Court, Jung Ryeo Won's character in that is very similar. Dirty tactics, blackmailing, trashtalking, they're willing to do all that, their only objective is to win, if that comes at the expense of others, so be it. Also that attitude is basically her portraying what most people say about victims/survivors. So she's parroting what people actually believe, the show is gonna be about the journey of her from someone who say shit like that to someone who fights for a change. She's not meant to be likeable at this point at all, if she was likeable rn then the writing has failed.

The professors in this college are fking pathetic. I hate them all badly.

Superficial people being superficial. Nothing new.

Her character is MEANT to be despicable. The show's about her character's development from this selfish, ambitious woman to someone who's more open and feeling toward others. If you've seen Witch's Court, the trajectory of this drama will possibly be the same as that.

The tweet got ratio'd. If they just want a pretty face (and I'm shocked at people saying HIY isn't good looking wtf, he's really attractive), they should just look at pics.

Truth. Cdramas are prime example of how not to write characters. Most of their characters, both male and female are soo frigging toxic and backward.

I mean it's fun to watch these female characters, but let's not act as if they're strong women and green flags. They're just rude aholes and walking red flags, it's equivalent of the arrogant, rude, ahole male lead you often see in older Kdramas (and Cdramas).
