Ep. 10 was realistic because SK (and most Asian countries in fact) don't take sexual assault seriously. R*pe culture is persistent and the victims often get blamed. 2 years jail time for r*pe is what I actually expect to happen in reality in SK and it has happened too. The punishment for crimes like these are far too lax and the laws require such a drastic overhaul. It's horrible.
I have a question. Do these "freshy contests" really exist at Thai universities? Or is it just a fantasy in the…
It exists IRL as well. It's just a way to choose someone to represent the student body. So a balanced mix of looks and academic ability is required IRL. Sadly most unis choose only based on looks.
Ep 4 pissed me off even more. I wanna insert myself into this show and slap everyone seriously. The coaches are terrible at their job, the "team" is a terrible team. Like seriously, if these people played this sport for real they'd not even win even a regional match let alone international one. They're completely terrible at their job.
Am i stupid or are some of the flashbacks really not clear?? i get confused and then I realize oh this is not…
The flashbacks are clear enough. You don't need a tag saying it's a flashback, you can just know it by looking at the characters. Junghwan is a nice guy in flashback and a douchebag in present.
I don't either......but as the story progress.....we see the journey....the underdog story...where she will triumph
She was never an underdog, she was a world class player who stopped playing due to a misunderstanding/scandal.
Also I really don't like underdog stories in sports. They always end up 2nd or 3rd and never win anything at the end. In this I want the leads to win everything and make these pieces of shits cry. It's not fun watching everyone trashtalk the lead and to not see them win anything to shut up them. Especially since they're 100% gonna give these trashtalkers some redemption arc BS.
Ep 9 was the first ep to make me cry. I'm bawling T__T esp because I have 2 dogs and reality hit me hard. I just wanna stop time and live in the present T__T This is why I don't watch movies and shows about animals. They just make me cry so hard T__T
I'm seriously hating this Taeyang slander. They need to clear this whole mess up or I might just drop this. I can't stand all these stupid characters being all high and mighty.
Why are they not showing the game properly???? can't they give us proper rallies ?????I know it's not easy considering…
EXACTLY! That's exactly what I said about Racket Boys as well. In actual Badminton, smashes are not the common way to win points. Where tf are the rallies, drives, clears etc. etc.??? Either you portray the sport properly, or just focus on the story smh This is why Prince of Tennis is the best sports drama I've seen. It actually focused on the sport well and focused on technical aspects of it.
Why it seem like the coaches have no control over their team at all? I mean the members aren't even tryna hide…
Exactly. It's unrealistic af as someone who played a team sports, if that happened in our team we'd get kicked out without a second thought. I get it, they're trying to dramaticise it but it's a frigging sports drama not a makjang. At least infuse some logic please.
Also a major gripe I have with this is the lack of exposition. Wish it'd just hurry along and show us what happened in high school.
