Long story...Some people blamed XZ's fans for the shutdown of the platform ao3. As they were angry, they went to downvote all his works and insulted him. Add to that the antis/paid people that help spreading hate.
Olay even tried to defend XZ and his studio apologised (not even his fault).

Don't worry, his fans are there for him :) Now he has a lot of international fans too . Yesterday we were even in top tendance with the #welovexiaozhan ^^
Lots of people are jealous (or scared) of him and paid others to spread nasty rumours. He isn't the only one that goes through this unfortunetly.

Have you been there from the start? No, nor I. Anyone can say anything and that's what caused this crisis. People spreading rumours based on what they understood or on what they wanted to understand.
We should not blame anyone in this matter due to the lack of evidence, it's unproductive and harmful for the actors.

WELL, seems like I can't answer to Skibbies post but please check your infos ( I hope you're just an innocent person that couldn't see the REAL infos spreading everywhere on Twit...) before spreading rumours that can damage the career and image of an innocent idol/actor/actress (and his/her fandom). What you has stated is partially false and that's precisely what antis/trolls/paid ppl spread all over to explain why they post insults towards XZ, his fanbase & downvote his works.
So to make it short:
AO3 didn't agree to being censured by China some month ago (didn't want to follow their rules), so that was announced MONTHS ago that AO3 will shut down on March 1, not related at all to some "fans" creating pron lol.
But unfortunetly u know how fast the antis are right? They'll take any opportunities to attack XZ, so of course, they spread it was because of his fans and then went to attack him personnally and downvote his works on Douban.
So stop saying and blaming those ppl about it. They were not the cause of the shutdown.
Keep remembering that AO3 isn't the only one media to be blocked by China. They just want to control everything and if you don't want to let go, then you're shut down.

I know I shouldn't be that excited because It will take a lot of time to be on air (about 2 years?) and who knows if the adaptation will be as fabulous as the danmei BUT seeing just the page make my heart flusters and I can't control it xD

I'm joking (well ...lol), but there are many reasons apart from the money. The one that comes to my mind is we don't dare to compete with the USA, so we're stuck in our own little world producing the same old stuff, or the ones that are easy to produce. The investments seem quite low for a lot of EU countries, like they just won't dare to invest money & effort, and lose it all.

I can't answer because the same was happening with joy of life one week ago for me. 9.2 and was lower than 9.0 drama in the list. It was a little bit confusing.
When I commented about that issue, everyone found it logical. Happy I'm not the only one finding this matter odd :p

The best after The Untamed, is Sotus the series ( light-hearted/cute). The second season Sotus S is just so so unfortunetly, but still pleasant to see them again if you're a fan. Same style as Sotus "Love by chance" and "2 moons" (these two just average for me when you knew BL well).
Among my favs are the "History2 Boundary crossing and right or wrong". History3 trapped isn't my cup of tea though (no chemistry but it's just my pov).
Same style as The Untamed "Guardian" (bromance).
If you're looking for skinship, you can watch "TharnType". Love/hate relationship, kind of cliché but still they're pretty at ease when together.
And if you want to laugh, you have Ossan's love from Japan.

I highly recommend u to read BL Chinese novels :) There are some gems (translated in eng).

I'm getting into it more and more :) Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi are doing an awesome job. I just hope It'll be that kind of drama full of emotions untfil the end.
