I watched this movie back in middle school, around 15 yrs ago, on IFC (Independent Film Channel) here in the states and I'm telling you its one of the best movies I ever accidentally came across. They would show it multiple times and I would watch it every single time. As I grew older I came to really understand the story and would cry at the end (it's a bittersweet ending story). If you have a chance to view it- DO IT! You will NOT regret it.
You want some pizza with that cheese?! ugh this was a tough one to watch. I'm all for a love story but this was just so... cheesy!!! Its only 6 episodes and less than and hr for each one but it took me FOREVER to finish. Did I shed a tear? Not a one -_- I just found the entire thing annoying.
That ending was a let down. They def took the lazy way out with that direction. I genuinely felt a partnership be formed but then it just ends like that! There were some loose ends to tie up but they just forgot about it.
I just finished watching and I just want to know why can't I find romantic hetero scenes like in this movie?! Anyway this movie was shot beautifully and the story was amazing (twists and revenge). Didn't know you had it in ya South Korea O_O ;-)
My heart was pounding after that first kiss until the end. This movie sucked me in and didn't let go. If you are debating if you should watch this then DO IT!! Its a movie that is gonna take more than one viewing to fully grasp though.
I remember when this movie came out as a kid and it was HUUUUGE here in the states. Everyone was talking about it and it was one of those movies that everyone had to see. I don't remember there being such hype for a movie since Titanic. I personally was taken aback with it as it was my first wuxia film and I had no idea what I was watching YET I loved it. This is def hands down a classic/ must watch.
Damn! This was a great article and yes I totally agree with number one. He came from a loving family is what it really weird for me lol Like how do you not know how to show affection when you get it from your parents all the time- weird (but he is still one of my favs)
Jackie Chan is a freakin gem
The build up was great but yea the climax and ending were meh, so that sucked.
The acting was A1 tho- very compelling.
Gotta watch more of her creations!
Your logic is flawed
BUT the story is nice; that ending tho is straight tragic- pissed me off
