I'd say "slightly romantic action" if those are the options, but the love in the movie is a more desperate kind of love. Personally I was very touched by it.
It's not an icky kind of love that steals the spotlight from the real plot - it's more of a nice detail to the story.
But you'll have to watch it yourself to know what you'll think. I would still urge you to watch it as soon as possible :P

Man I find her really annoying though, and I really dislike the hairstyle of the buddy-like guy XD I like the guy who's gonna end up with her in the end though, the one who used to date the tennis lady.

I feel the exact same way. I watched the first episode ages ago and was quite repulsed by Yoo Rin, but by lack of better things to watch I picked it up again. It got more interesting, but I won't say it's magnificent or outstanding like people claim it to be. I guess the real gem unveils itself later on.

I started My Girl. The first ep was so painful, I was so offended when she stole the tangerines XD I don't even know why
