It's because of the vvaccine he got when he was a child. It's meddling with his brain and causing him pain and stuff, so at the end of season 2 he was gonna remove the half that was infected or something, I don't really remember. I think it was because he didn't want to end up like the other guy who had the vaccine, and runed out to be a psycho killer. I believe he chose not to go through with it so that he could keep all of it, because having a whole brain is cool.

I never get into it in the first two episodes - not with this, not with the second season and not with relatively similar series (in style) like God's Quiz - Make it to episode 4 and you'll love it, you just neew to grasp the concept. I know it sounds strange to hang onto a show for four episodes before taking real interest, but if you're anything like me you won't regret it. Dropping it for a short while may not be such a bad idea though, you'll grow fond of the plot idea one more time, give it another shot and fall in love. :-)

Yeah, like a list/profile page with info about all the mods, and their role in the big MDL circus. :B So people know who to go all 'lawl you suck' on.

Well, they ARE pretty darn much alike. The concept is exactly the same, having kids kill each other on an island. The "fantastic and not at all predictable plot twist" at the end where more than one person escape from the island is present in both movies as well. We have the crazy yet talented killer character, the shy and quiet character that doesn't want to be there, and the main character that doesn't want to kill anyone but does what needs to be done, and saves their friend. It strikes me as similar, but I may be wrong.
