I haven't read the books, so for me this season is ok the way it is. I understand also the book readers they are disappointed probably with certain moments, that's why they complain.

Willy has one mission to do - bring Charlie to Tony. In my opinion Willy isn't interested in any of them, but approaching Babe is a game for Willy and makes his mission easier. Besides let's not forget Tony might kill Willy very quickly too.
I am sorry, i always have problems with characters names i am not really interested in. But making long story short - both of them act childish, both of them are annoying, they both created unnecessary issues instead of starting relationship. Yet i still find the one who returned from Paris more irritating because his cold behaviour already affected their friendship and potential romantic relationship.

They hate Willy from the start because he dared to mess with BabeCharlie relationship. At this point Willy could stop doing anything and he will be still hated. 🤷🏻♀️ The same was with Way, people hated him because he loved Babe, untill Way gave them real reason to hate him.
I agree with both of them being annoying right now bit in defence of Sonic (and he is not my fave character) i don't really blame him that much. Yes he is undecided and yes he is afraid of ruining their friendship, that's why he didn't confess yet, but since Nort returned from Paris, he was actually very distand towards Sonic. And romantic feelings aside, that's not how friends act. From my point of view Sonic is confused by North's behaviour that's why he hasitated with confession. No matter what he does or doesn't do, it makes North angry. I think i would hasitete with confession too.
My quick thoughts on the episode: I strongly dislike Sonic, what exactly is his problem? He suspects Dean, even though the guy is really trying to get his life back. I didn't forget what Dean did but i trust Alan (Babe only pretends he accepted Dean in the team - but he at least has the most valid reasons to not trust Dean, still i am Dean's defender.). The way Sonic treats North, it's childish - I have big crush on you, so i will treat you like shit. No thanks Sonic. Of course North should confess his feelings, but I get it why he is affraid of doing it. Let's say SonicNorth moments in season 1 were much more interesting. Now their moments annoy me. KimKenta - finally something lovely happened but of course it had to end like this . I don't think we will see them together in the next episode, so i will admire Kim's lovely smile for next two weeks. 🤷🏻♀️ Also the kiss 😍 So Chris is related to Tony, we didn't expect that, didn't we?? (sarcasm on). I don't think Pete's powers work on Chris. I mean I doubt Chris works for Tony and i totally lost my hopes for Chris being Way, but i think Chris is more powerful than Way was. This is my theory, i will gladly be wrong with it. And mvp of the episode for me was Willy, 15 seconds of screentime and he made the temperature high👌 In general i liked the episode, what i don't like is how they made Pop's character totally non-existent.
