I loved Yuwen Yue's personality. He had a lot to be responsible for and he was very conscientious and moral (not to mention handsome and dignified). Yan Xun (Shawn Dou) was also young and handsome and very innocent, aka happy-go-lucky--at least for part of the drama. I loved the storyline with the competition between respected friends for the love of the main actress, Chu Qiao (Zanilla Zhao).
PS I do not get the name of this drama--how was it "Princess Agents?" That makes it sound like it's going to be about a bunch of princesses who are undercover agents!??

This is one of my favorite dramas. I loved the main female. After considering her situation, it seems only natural to have her personality. I really liked her myself. Great acting!

Still underrated! But that’s to be expected a bit since, after all, there are over 25,000 viewers with combined ratings. I just finished “Love Rain” for the third or fourth time, this time on Netflix. I don’t think I will ever forget this drama. Even though there are a few slow spots (as is the case for most dramas), overall it is one of the best romantic dramas—heartfelt with many emotions but still upbeat with challenges to overcome and regrets to get past. I love the cute actors, variety of music and beautiful scenery. It’s a good storyline and I know that I will watch it again at some point. if you’re wondering whether you should watch it, my answer is an unequivocal “Yes!”. Enjoy.

Excellent drama. Loved the actors, music and it was a very interesting story line. Never boring. The ending was close to perfect. I will probably watch this again since I also enjoyed the humor.

I'm not sure how I missed this drama two years ago. I was looking for something interesting and happened across this drama--I was very pleasantly surprised. I loved the two main leads (Sun Yi and Allen Deng) and the story line. I was pretty much captivated every episode. Although it went a little too slow the last two episodes, overall "Because of You" turned out to be a very good drama with an (almost) perfect ending! I rated it 8.5

I love Princess Agents sooo much! I can't help watching it over and over. Such great characters and actors. Best love story. The only reason I could tolerate that ending is because it was so well done and obviously begging for a sequel--with no doubt. But whatever happened, someone should pick up on such an amazing drama to continue it. I have no idea what happened. Could you please tell me where you read the novel translation? Thank you.

PS I don't think I'm going to even try watching this one--too many negative comments!

I really loved this drama, but I do have to admit that I also cringed over Lee Min Ho's American accent. I was surprised that they wouldn't have helped him perfect that in the drama--but his acting was really good, as always.

I just don't get why anyone could not like this drama so much. I loved this drama and the actors! This is actually a GOOD Drama!

Wow. You have obviously really got some hang up about the actors. What did they ever do to you? I have said it many times--I really loved this drama and all of the actors were excellent.

Sorry but I really,really liked this drama. I don't understand at all. I gave it a very high rating. You don't say anything specific about what you don't like so it makes me wonder if maybe you are trying to put down one of the actors for some reason by saying the drama is bad. sorry, but true.

Just a comment--I'm not sure what you have against Park Shin Hye, but I really like her dramas! I think she is so cute and really talented!!

I still don't get why this drama is sooo under rated! The actors are all excellent--including Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin and Kim Mi Kyung (who plays the mother or aunt in tons of dramas and she is always perfect)! Except for the beginning with the portrayal of the older sister's creepy American boyfriend and the American girls/guy (btw real, normal Americans are not like that!), I really liked this drama. Anyway, I recommend that you watch it for yourself and see what you think. It's definitely worth a try just for the actors and the storyline isn't bad either! Take care...

But you have to have the upgraded viki-pass-plus to be able to watch anything new on viki without ads since they increased their subscription prices recently. Best to watch it on Netflix if you have it already.

A must watch. Defendant was excellent and now one of my favorites. I really like Ji Sung--so talented!

This drama is amazing . I rated it 10 out of 10. It would have been better if they would just make the 3 parts into 1. They are very short parts! --So how many time can someone watch the same drama? I have already watched this twice already and I like it so much! I would really love it if they would make more historical dramas such as this one. I also love Tribes and Empires and Princess Agents, but they can be hard to find. Enjoy!

I have mixed feelings about this drama. I really wanted to like it. I watched It 5 years ago then finished re-watching today. It has a good storyline but lots of unexplained rushed scenes and gaps in logic, especially at the end. The actors were really cute but the main male lead was not that good at acting. I didn’t really like the brother /boyfriend premise and the whole thing was just a little too awkward and unbelievable. I’m not sure if it was the directing or acting—maybe both. And there were just too many unforgivable incidents that were never satisfactorily explained and resolved. Even with all that, I did give it a 7.5 out of 10 rating.
