I'm really like strong badass female lead. But often times, they feels pretentious like wish fullfillment without…
I really, really like strong women with a conscience, but they don't have to be "badass" although some are and I really like them--Princess Agents, Wonder Woman...

Don't forget a few other of my favorites: "Princess Agents" (Zanilia Zhao), "Tribes and Empires" (Adi Kan as Princess Ji--as well as others), "Mr. Sunshine" (leading actress Kim Tae Ri as Go Ae Sin--I think most of the women), "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" (Lee Sung Kyung as Kim Bok Joo)... I know there are many more!! -- "Scarlet Heart" (original Chinese version) (Cecilia Liu as Ma'ertai Ruo Xi), "Empress Ki" (Ha Ji Won as the Ki Empress), "Queen Seon Duk" (Lee Yo Won as Queen Seon Duk).

I am not Korean but I love Kdramas (especially the period dramas)! I was very excited for everyone. Although I am personally not a fan of Tarentino-type movies, I will just say "Congratulations!" I hope we will get more movies that show the real Korean culture to the rest of the world. Take care.

I loved So Ji Sub in "Sorry I Love You" --one of my favorite dramas. I can't decide if I should watch this since it seems that it is more of a comedy than real drama. There are so many differing comments.

Thanks for the warning ; )
I personally recommend watching it. It may not be 100% perfect, but nothing usually is. Enjoy!

I love the leading actress, Park Min Young. I thought she was really good, especially in the beginning episodes, but they definitely should have developed her character with more of the center action and better lines! I would like to re-watch it now. Does anyone know where I can find it at this point?

i gave up after ep 43.... this is stupid.... round and round storyline... the female lead is dumb ... doesnt know…
Ep 43?! That's crazy--actually I think the best episodes were the ones at the end. You might want to think about it and try the last 4 or 5 episodes again! Take care.

It’s called Princess LL so whom do you think she’s going to choose? Not going to watch this. Rating is lower…
You might be surprised...It's worth watching to find out at the end!

I finally got to see all of the episodes of Princess of Lanling subbed on youtube. I liked the story a lot and the acting was pretty good. Although I appreciate that it was subbed all the way through, it was a challenge to understand--poor vocabulary and the translaters didn't know how to conjugate verbs or sentence structure very well. At least I got most of the idea of what was going on and would recommend to watch this (47 episodes). I rated this at least 8.0--higher if the subbing had been better. Thank you.

Really good movie. So amazing that it is based on a true story. You could just imagine all the feelings that those passengers and crew must have gone through. How fortunate for everyone that the pilot was so experienced. How do you ever say "thank you" enough? Good actors--Good balance of being tense and hopeful. It makes you realize how important it is to follow the instructions of the crew--it might just save your life (although the stress of going through that must be so unbearable). I liked the Chinese music at the end. I would watch again with a friend.

Prince of Lan Ling is wayyyyyy better....
I hesitated to watch this at first because I loved the Prince of Lan Ling so much! But I started it and was really enjoying the drama when they quit subbing at episode 17!! I've been checking over a couple of years and now from the comments, it seems like it might actually be available. I really hope so!!

it was long thunderous travel through great times of XVIII c China, empire, palace, throne, beautiful princes…
I was so excited that there even was a second season of Bu Bu Jing Xin that was set in the modern day time, but it really was so bad. I still don't get it. Was it a different director? Did they totally run out of money? I guess I'm glad that they at least attempted a sequel--I think. The storyline started out okay, but the filming was so bad--scenery, resolution and all. It turned out to be very "cheesy" and really not worth watching in the end. It was just too bad because part one was really so amazing!!
