Finished!—I liked this drama—and the ending was good. Good premise for a story. ML (make lead) seemed a little too young and baby faced at times, but good overall. Not sure about someone’s comment re last 10 episodes—I liked them, but I also have not seen other versions of this drama. (I would love to see the one with Tony Leung even though it was made quite some time ago. I haven’t been able to find it yet.)
The only reason I didn’t give this drama a higher rating and I wouldn’t watch it again is because of the really irritating and constant interruptions of cover photo and repetitious music every few minutes throughout the entire 50 episodes! It was very distracting.
PS someone just replied that you can watch it on YouTube without the interruptions, so I’ll check that out for my friends. Thank you.

The photo(s) are 2 variations of the cover photo and I am guessing that the few seconds of music are maybe some part of the theme music that repeats itself in a very annoying high-pitched manner. There is part of a song that plays at the end of each episode and I actually really like that music. But the several constant interruptions throughout each episode is so frustrating! I am assuming this must be the same for other viewers. Is this happening only on Amazon Prime? Thanks for your reply.

I am currently watching this drama (2019 version) on Amazon Prime and pleasantly surprised how much I am enjoying it. My only problem is that I am sooo annoyed with the musical clips and photo that is inserted into the drama about every 10 to 15 minutes or so. It’s so bad that I’ve even thought about not watching the drama!! (I have made it to episode 29 but still have 20 episodes to go.) My question is this—is this only happening on Amazon or does it play that way on other channels also? Because I will definitely change to something other than Amazon video if that is the case. It is seriously so annoying that I don’t know if I want to continue. and anyway I’ve read comments that say the last 10 episodes aren’t that good!? Please help—Ha!

I started watching this twice and had to drop it after a couple of episodes and I am sorry to say, that I am just not that big of a fan of Wallace Huo. But I would keep trying if there was any hope of a really good story/acting. After reading all these comments it seems that everyone is depressed that made it through to the end. Still looking for a good reason to watch this.

I would love it if I could watch Scarlet Heart --Chinese original version--on Amazon Prime . That is one of my all-time favorites. The acting, scenery and everything is excellent! I have seen Scarlet Heart several times by myself or with friends and I always want to watch it again. I have been thinking about dropping Amazon Prime because they just don't have enough good Asian dramas. There are a few, but I just found two that I haven't watched yet (including this one) so maybe I'll hang in there for a little longer. PS - I did see Yanxi Palace before and that is good also. I was looking for another drama after watching "Three lives, Three Worlds, the Pillow Book" / "Eternal Love of Dream" (too many names for the same drama, but it was really good)! I came across "Love and Destiny" and felt it was a little too similar to ELOD, but it turned out to be different enough that I enjoyed watching all 60 episodes. In fact, I was sad to see it end and wished there were more episodes. Now I have to find another good drama after I reflect on this one for awhile. Any suggestions? Thank you.

This is the same comment that I left for Part 1 of Red Cliff. Something is really off here--I wonder what is going on? Have there really been no comments in three years? This is one of the best movies ever and I am not the only one who thinks that. It just doesn't make sense. MDL is also showing 7 comments at the top of the list here and there should be many more. I was so excited to watch this movie, but I really did not like it. I understand the concept and message. I was hoping for something really enjoyable and meaningful, but it was obviously not that type of movie. It was okay, although not my type. I would definitely not watch it again. I really do hate the theme of this movie. (When I realized that it was associated with Tarantino's style, then I knew why I didn't like it--I have only seen one of Tarentino's movies that was kind of okay). Sorry to anyone who is a fan--just a different opinion.

Excellent drama. I thoroughly enjoyed watching every episode. The actors were very good and every character was well cast. 56 Episodes may seem long, but I would have liked it to continue even longer--I guess that means I wouldn't mind having a second season! I will probably watch this again since there were so many interesting parts. I rated it as 10/10.

I really love Kim Ah Joong in "My PS Partner. --It's one of my favorite dramas!! I just saw "Live up to your name," and I can't wait to watch more with her. I noticed that she has no dramas after 2017. I hope she is planning on doing more. I will definitely be watching for them. Take care!

Good story, Good actors (especially Kim Ah Joong). Kept me interested throughout the drama. Everything built up to the ending which was good--especially with the extra added scene.

I'm a little confused. This drama listing shows that the drama is 10 episodes and aired on "Wednesday, April 29, 2020." Does that mean all episodes aired on the same day or that they will air for 55 minutes every Wednesday?

Storyline is pretty good but the transitions could have been a little smoother. Maybe it just needed some more individual details and development and not so much about the head of Jangga. I wanted to know more about the grandmother. The girlfriend was rather boring--nothing seemed to ever happen. I did like the points of social morality. The actors were good. I really liked Jo Yi Seo--she was very outstanding and unique.

It might be a little over rated, but the messages are strong and that was worth a lot.
