not a fan of covering her eyes all the time that was kinda lame she is a badass martial artist she can handle…
There is a difference between watching gore and violence vs watching someone who was like a father to you murdered right ij front of you because of you.
This is when I dropped it honestly. She said she'd always stay by his side basically and abandons him after that.…
If you had kept watching she actually explains it. She says she doesnt mind that he hid it from her but he was someone she wasnt meant to fall in love with. And while they are in this off stage she is still caring dor him, telling her colleagues how to treat him and take care of him. She is between a rock and a hard place.
I don't think they blame him as such but imagine having someone in your life reminding you of your most painful…
Yes? I agreed with this? They dont want to associate with him because of the incident not because they blame him for thr incident? That was my point xD

I was specifically responding to the comment that they blame him for the accident. I dont think this is the case.
You know, the parents thought they were doing what was best for their child. Obviously she understands that this hence she has a good relationship with thrm (doesnt mean it is right). The show did allow us to see the parent's growth mildly (since they are not the focus). When she talked to her parents that night about her job, when they relented to let them be together (before the truth was out). It is frustrating but still good storytelling.
I much prefer this kind of conflict that the leads need to resolve than miscommunication or noble idiocy. Its the circumstances forcing the situation.

But it is realistic, asian parents are exactly like this (my own included) I think thats why we see so many parents shown on tv like this, it happens a lot.... I am not saying it's right, i am just saying its realistic and makes sense
Her parent's are annoying. How the F do you blame a child for what happened.
I don't think they blame him as such but imagine having someone in your life reminding you of your most painful moment ever. They can't accept that. It's pretty realistic to be pain avoidant and therefore cut ties. Later on the parents relent when they see how much pain their daughter is in even before the real truth comes out.
I found the part where JinAn was mourning Qiaoer's death so special. So rare to spend time showing that the ML…
My fav book is by this author, they did make a drama for that but butchered it.. Basically kept the character names and rewrote their own story. novel - Seven Unfortunate lifetimes thanks to a moment of impulse. Its definitely worth a read. My second fav from this author is Death does not exist at the river of oblivion. Author is good at making those melancholy moments that grips your heart and hurts is just a little.
She might look the part more, but her fight scenes arent as well choreographed... I dunno who decided using bow…
Yeah i liked his fight scene, and the bit where they were dodging the arrows. But with deamas back to back hard not to compare, just wanna give kudos whoever did the choreographing for lotfg. Shadow love so far is okay, similar to others.
Am I missing parts of drama lost in translation? When did FL pretend to be a man?
Shen san (dunno how its written as I am canto) is Master in the sense Mr is the shortened version of Master. They are calling her Mr. Wan. The word of Master as in teacher master is Shifu
