I didn't understand the conversation between YePingAn and Mr.Sun. When she asked Mr. Sun if Yu Qian would have…
She was saying the dude was so righteous that it didn't matter even if was the royals doing the crime, hence she will not stop and will not be afraid either.
As much as i hate hai yi ping, i gotta say, he's one cunning villain.
At the beginning when he first appeared I was like, oh this is a surprise this actor is being a good guy.... Then later I was like ohhhhhhh it all makes sense xD
someone help me understand this: (I don't know character's name so I'll explain their role in relations to the…
Think of it like her body was living but the soul had veen swapped. It said his mum's pure body was the last chain on the resentful woman and so when he handed her the poison, hrr body died and the evil was free.
I would say: Love Between Fairy and Devil, A Familiar Stranger, Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre (this…
The SA wasnt for no reason (just a stupid reason), he was testing whether she hsd any martial arts, remember when she pushed him away she was like I tricked you, i never lost my martial arts. He did it to test her because he started seeing the cracks in her lies.
The edits I did in my brain for a better/smoother? ending
When Ziqi starts "remembering" scenes from fuzhou's past and realises he is Fuzhou, then flashback to when they were small, how miaomiao influenced him in that time period and how he then imagined himself as ziqi as he is writing, miaomiao as mu qingshi, the bullied girl as his sister etc (with the animation style we saw at the front or something). This way it is more clear that he is projecting his emotions and experiences into this story he is writing. It also makes it more clear that these two different people have the same base character / personality. Could have been a bit more explicit in this section about his feelings, what he wished his family was like, how he wanted the ending to be bad because he wanted to destory everything (like when he thought about suiciding).
When he wrote the other novels and was reading comments online (miaomiao's) could have shown more explicitly that he knew who she was by staring at the pen she dropped or something. And then him deciding to undergo surgery he should have had a scene with his editor (LOL) explaining he wants to publish it JUST IN CASE HE DOESN"T MAKE IT. And then the wishes he made before he went under was so strong it shows HIM BEING PULLED INTO THE "game" at the same time as miao miao wrote the comment and got pulled into the game.
When Ziqi "fell" it should have shown some sparkles or something of Fuzhou waking up in the hospital. This way we can keep the growth of the character.
Miao miao can forget her memories for a while and feels like she had a dream. As she goes and prepares for this book signing thing she can see people who then start to trigger some recollections. Finally when she arrives Fuzhou is there and says Miaomaio, and he he presents her with both the pen when she was younger AND A WINDCHIME. doesn't have to be exactly the same one. You see Miao miao remembering and she gives him a hug like the one in ep 20.
Nah, I am pretty sure she said Xiao Ziqi as in little ๅฐ, cuz she knew him as a kid.
Xiao doesnt have to be used in affectionate way, it can be used in a condescending way too. Also fits the context of him being her junior as in thr next generation.
I really like the theme in LGIEF of learning to love and accept yourself. Underneath all the comedic overtones of the show, the message and the heart of the show is so warm and encouraging.
The growth of ziqi as a person, learning to accept his demonic side is like us, we all have bad parts of ourselves we wish other people wouldnt find out about or we want to hide away. However if we never look at these parts of ourselves we will never be able to grow and move forward onto a brighter future.
The ending quote of the drama resonates with me strongly. There may be people in our lives who are like a light to us like miao miao is to ziqi but unless we accept ourselves, forgive ourselves we are not able to truly love someone else / allow them to love us fully.
I loved that the show displayed lots of different types of love, obsessive crazy love like liu niang yet before that strong sisterhood bond, love that is willing to betray your own values (water demon and fox demon), compassion of the community (village who took in fuyi), compassion of liu niang on the abused women, love that doesnt mean it has to be with me (crown prince, ziqi's parents) and so many more.
I love that the side characters were mostly nuanced and complex and not cartoonishly evil, their reasons for their actions were quite logical.
The first half of the show killed me with laughter, the second half of the show mande me think (although pacing suffered a little), the ending left me wanting more but still happy enough with it because knowing thesr types of shows it usually ends poorly)
I will definitely be rewatching this in the future for comfort or making someone else watch it. Definitrly worth the ride. Also can't remember the last drama I watched with such a nice positive message
Right right? Me too. Reset life was such a cute short series. My favourite had been Just an Encore up to now and LGIEF has now topped it... The only ones I havent watched are his DFBB character and the fmaily drama one that is like 69 eps long....
