Based on the memory flashes in the early episodes, when LMT lost her memory, there was a scene where she dreamt she caught ZY with another woman and that's why she left mount yang. When she woke up she told CXZ that she dreamt her husband betrayed her.
My take from that was, she was married to ZY till that day when she left him. Living as a rebel/bandit i assume they dont particulary pay attention to formality like marriage certificate or divorce paper.
But since i dont read the novel, any novel reader can help clarify?

She never looses her composure, there's something deeper to her character. But how this drama will take her, we'll see. She can turn evil and scheming or just a strong supporter to ZY.

LMT seems to respecf ZY more than CXZ on the surface. I think the reason behind it is with ZY they stand on equal level when they started. LMT knew what she was getting into. She made the decision to leave.
But with CXZ, he did save her. But everything after that were lies and it's gone too far cuz CXZ was afraid to loose her and continue lying. She sees nothing they can continue with, Ciu Jiu never existed, their loving family never existed. That must have hurt, deep.
I mean, to lure Luwen, he could just kept her close, so many other ways to bait Luwen. He doesnt have to pretend to be her husband. Yes, she mistaken him for her husband, he could've corrected that easy.
Anyway, it's the premise we have to take, i am not disliking it either way.

She closed her heart to ZY (all his fault) and denying her feeling for CXZ. Now let us enjoy the soon reconciliation on equal footing.

The reason i ask is because in the last few dramas, it ends with them getting married and they add a few minutes extra episodes as bonus.of their married life (they call it bonus, but we have to paid extra to watch it).
Here, i love to see more of the lead couple as a power couple. They were eye to eye in tactics, an equal rival. To see them on the same side would be so cool. That time LMT help CXZ with the roots to disarmed the horses. Eventhough LMT comeup with the roots, but it was CXZ who delivered the roots. His tactics, and he did well implementing it.
Also it would mean they wont drag out the misunderstanding between LMT and CXZ all the way to ep.40.
So based on the trailers and where things are headed. We will get LMT and CXZ go thru somethings, reconcile, get married for real and in the last few episodes they will face obstacles as a married couple?
