So the whole effort to swapped/destroy/put in that furnice thingy, to get the devil bone out of him, that whole arc was for nothing? Cuz even without it he will still turn into the devil god? 🤨
I keep seing the demon wedding pics around. I thought YXW sacrifice her divine essence and destroy TTJ devil bone. So instead of the devil bone destroyed TTJ still ends up as demon king?

He knows yet he fell victim anyway? He knows that YBC was scheming (we all should know) yet her scheming gets them anyway. TTJ and YXW ended up apart. Against each other. Shouldn't logically speaking it should not happened?
I like the smart TTJ that caught YBC in a lie with the love threads, i like he use YBC back when she tries to use him. That's how he should caught on, his character is shrewd and smart.
Now he needs to stay true as that smart and strong character.
But i suspect he will be dumbed down to get the story going forward of the doomed separation.
One thing I am not a big fan of when it comes to long drama storyline. It's when they have this one villain for all type of story. That they get the main characters right. They are complicated, quirky, strong (i like strong characters) , smart. Yet they kept being fooled by one villain again and again and again. The first time sure they fell for her plotting, but the 2nd time and in all likelihood a third time.
Come on, we can all see her scheming a mile away. And it's not like it was the scheming of the devil queen, just supposedly a meek woman. One single woman.
With MY and SJ storyline MY have no reason to not trust her. She was the goddes of her clan. She has her clan's power behind her. Sure she can create such devastation. I get that. Strong villain makes good story.
But with TTJ and YXW she was just a bullied woman. We have LSS with her knowledge from the future and smart TTJ who took over 2 kingdom within months. Somehow we are to expect both of them were fooled by YBC scheming? TTJ and all the animals spies? Nothing?
And i am suspecting they will recycle YBC as the villain again for the next story arc?
I am hoping the story will pick up after this. I enjoyed it so far, it's been great. I hope they do not screw the rest of the eps.

Thank you. I understand where the article was coming from. Some would find it to their taste, some will dislike the slow pace. That's why i was curious how the Chinese audiences likes it or not. But just like you, I love it. Altho i have to admit fast forwarding during the "police scenes".

Oh, I watched it, and i love it. I can read the ones in MyDL. I asked because i was curious how chinese audience likes it. I cant read chinese, so can't really browse how it's doing in China.
FL n ML are doing a great job. I love FL since i saw her in under the power. I tried this drama for her. I am hooked. JBR is now a new fave for me. The way he hides his cries behind the pile of snow after they broke up. So full of emotions, he nailed that scene. A drama with such slow pace, yet every minute so captivating. I have not use the FF button so far. This is from a fan of chinese costume dramas. I barely ever watch modern chinese drama, it's too long, too many episodes, story lines ended up being draggy. But not this time. Thumbs up
