Lily Alice, only one thing shocked me... no spoiler alert! 😉 From what I watched of epi. 1, Jo Han-chul was one of the actors that impressed me, he's good.
As an Austrian who had to face the past of my country and our neighbours in excruciating detail in school and…
Well .. if your wartime adversaries continued to rub your face in it on a regular basis in a stereotypical fashion - the way we used to even through the 1970s, you might not think the same way. Austria and Germany have been contrite and respectful since the war. All sides have to show the same respect in order to move on - it just wouldn't work if other countries continually disrespected your efforts through mainstream entertainment... even if you acknowledge the sentiment, you probably wouldn't choose to watch.

I doubt it, we'll just have to deal with it. Populism and greed - there will be worse to come. There was a scene in one of The Avengers movies where Loki becomes the king, it was an analogy of the modern world - but for all intents and purposes it could have been a scene from ancient history, where the folly of populism has already been well documented. When the world starts to fragment, cohesion is the way to survive. Democracy is not the answer to everything, we've been brainwashed to think so... which in itself is a little ironic. How different are we from the Eloi (or Morlocks) in the book The Time Machine? I wonder.
Yes, I hear you. I fell asleep many times while watching. Ever do that? You doze off, wake up, rewind... then doze off at the exact same moments every time - it's like hypnosis!
He's playing a lawyer again. Strange Attorney Woo has super-boosted his popularity, he was excellent in it. Hope this goes well - jtbc makes some truly great dramas and also some bizarre train wrecks (no names, touch the arse of your pets, or whatever it was called, and strong woman bong soon part 2), let's hope it's one of the good ones.
I was disappointed in the fact FL was so uncaring to the Joseon Tae Ha. He didn’t deserve to be treated that…
That's poignancy. She's showing her love for his reincarnated self, which only came about through all the events that unfolded and his own deep, unrequited love. What a love story!
My dream ending flashed before my eyes just as the crepe myrtle blossoms fell from the tree. Young-woo lets herself fall. Tae-ha feels a sudden sense of forlorn dejection. He dives into the pool out of instinct. He surfaces in old Joseon with the barely conscious Young-woo in his arms. She mumbles feebly, "Tae-ha, you came back". They kiss and a strong current pulls them under water. Tae-ha fights to get them back to safety... they see the surface approaching... and climb out of the pool in new Joseon, as the crepe myrtle tree magically blossoms once again. Wouldn't that have been more romantic?
Have you read the Webtoon? The drama is following the webtoon very closely and the drawing of the FML is exactly…
I haven't, I'm a drama fan only, so thanks for the info - I agree with you, instead of what I wrongly said, it's as if the role/drama was selected to fit her appearance. We have an expression when something creeps you out, you "get the willies". Seeing her gaunt face gave me the willies, that feeling down below when you see something ghastly.
Thanks LA. Your article changed my mind and made me watch... couldn't get past the first few scenes though. She's not well, they only inserted that cancer scene as an excuse for her appearance, she didn't lose weight for the role, the role lost weight for her. Hope she gets better.

He's just translating stuff from news sites, have a look, this article's from SBS news. What's the issue with it? It's not up to a few individuals to decide for everyone what is and isn't news worthy.

Brexit was a humiliating mistake, I was in the minority on that vote. We're all paying the price. I can't even get prescription medicines on time any more... and it probably gave Putin just enough fuel to invade Ukraine. I can see how and why it happened. We are a much smaller and more insignificant country than the deluded Brexiters appear to have realised. When Bloomberg said it was the stupidest thing any country ever did, he was spot on. We're in a time when politicians are baying for clicks and likes on sns like everyone else... so they're obsessed with populism and neither act for the common good nor with integrity. I gave up voting after Brexit.

Stop beating people up with the bible. It's already been proven there's a contradiction to suit any argument, and your arguments are clearly stemming from personal issues. Stop recycling the same arguments, I refer you to the replies you've previously received. You're not acting in a Christian-like way. IU can do what she wants, it's her job, get over yourself. And stop leering over her Instagram if you don't like it!

I'm disappointed with the UK too, hence I can't watch any English language TV, it's all shit. You can have Harry, it's a lose-lose deal, either you have to take Harry or we have to take Meghan, they're both too narcissistic to get a divorce and own up to their mistakes... the greatest country (yours, naturally) should step up to the plate 😉 I loved Meghan when they got married, she seemed lovely, and Harry was considered the cooler prince. How did they f*** that up? I wonder where they'll go once unilaterally rejected by both countries? There seems to be a supply of gutter level media still willing to give them air time... Speaking of which, shame on Spotify and Netflix, they learned the hard way what everyone knew before they offered those ridiculous contracts.

That's a divorce arrangement. I'm responding to your sentence: "A spouse can sue their cheating other half though, because their relationship is covered by law". The application of the law makes this a rare exception, e.g. where crimes have occurred between the couple. In most cases, a spouse cannot successfully sue the other.

Can you explain how it's done then? It's usually not possible to sue your spouse - but you can divorce them... Countries that allow no-fault divorce would contradict that law if one party could sue the other over the reason.
