is it really fake-ex meeting tho? like is it specified on the webtoon?
No idea! I haven't got time to read webtoons, esp. if it might spoil a drama - they're like detailed story boards these days. It wasn't implied in the drama either, it's my inference based on his character, a guy that pulls elaborate tricks to get into girls' pants - too much of a coincidence, even by k-drama standards!

Wasn't Babi a gaslighter in season 1? Undermining Woong, accidental-deliberate meetings in the park, hiding Yumi's umbrella (yes, I think so!), the fake-ex meeting in the cafe (yes, he set that up, right?), crashing the drinks gathering... No way Yumi-ssi, don't fall for it! I'm still rooting for a Woong comeback!

I'm surprised Jung Hae In is willing to star as a second male lead.
It's probably an even split in roles, but even so, Jung Hae-in's making a reputation as an actor with integrity and humility, i.e. a proper actor. Any proper actor wants to contribute to the whole and work with great people, it's not a competition, it's art.

Thanks for this article. I discovered Ayase Haruka in Hotaru no Hikari when I first started watching Asian dramas…
That was her move into A-list, very popular drama

I doubt it he wouldn't be second choice tho
Agree, I was just thinking about his comments in the past about wanting to work with Ha Ji-won... also, regarding 2nd choice, when a big name changes it's like a reset button is pressed, anything can happen - however, since it was KHN's project first I wish him the best, I don't really mind because he's a great actor that I also like.

That's kinda unnecessary 😐... also if you have been following Gong Yoo has been turning down many offers lately.
btw I only remember he turned down new drama by Kim Eun Hee, which I thought was understandable, she seems to be going for quantity over quality these days. He did The Silent Sea - he's in a position to wait for only the best scripts and this one sounds like it's a good one. I only recently realised KHN was just 32, when I watched Camellia it didn't even occur to me Gong Hyo-jin was 10 years his senior! Now that I know, I guess it bothers me, not sure, but I like him all the same.

Happy for HJW a talented actress who acted in various genres. Applaud her for her previous action roles. Why must…
It's newsworthy. Seems the big hitters have shared roles over many years, Ha Ji-won won't mind in the least that Son Ye-jin turned it down, I'm sure the reverse has also occurred in the past.
