What makes the character interesting is exactly the fact that he barely shows any expression. He’s a depressed, unmotivated kid, so that blank look is part of who he is. And that’s why, when he finally smiles or cries, it hits way harder. The performance works because it’s subtle. That’s what makes it powerful.
is there a lot of miscommunication/misunderstandings?
YES! The amount of miscommunication in this drama is insane. So much suffering could’ve been avoided if the characters just spoke more than two words to each other. But apparently, telling a full story is illegal in My Dearest. Ugh, this show drives me insane.
I really want to love this drama but the FL is so f annoying, dense and insufferable. It didn't make any sense…
I feel you, I’m in the same boat. I want to love this so badly, but the FL just makes it so hard. I can’t stand her attitude, she’s strong when she needs to be, but when it comes to men, she turns so annoying. It’s like she needs to be desired all the time. And with the ML, she’s always rude and finds a way to blame him for everything. I’m on ep 12 and there’s still no real progress in their romance, just the same painful cycle on repeat (by her on choice) .
No lie, Park JiHoon really scares kdrama and honestly, his acting isn't that great, except on Weak Héros Class…
Jihoon's acting in WHC is breathtaking, what are you talking about? It's outstanding. I did watch At a distance spring is green and Love Revolution and I think his acting wasn't mature enough yet. But in weak hero class the way he portraits his feelings, physical and emotional pain, it is amazing. You can complain about the plot, but it's insane to criticize his acting skills as Yeon Sieun.
It's refreshing
It is OK, but it doesn't deserve a 9/10
I'm shocked
