I agree, I haven't actually watched c-drama for a long time, this drama brought me back to my c-drama era. I don't think any other will beat this one for me.

The repetitive plots are kinda annoying. Not gonna lie. Especially since this is a slowburn, some people are judging even more.

I didn't know that the poem on the chalkboard during proposal scene was a from that book at the ending (Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson). No wonder all the dialogues are impressive in this drama.

I feel people are a bit biased when it comes to c-dramas than k-dramas. I think some k-dramas have much higher ratings considering their plot. But when a c-drama hits high ratings, people seem to be a bit pretentious. It's just my opinion tho.

Oh that's good then. Based on your preferences, I think you'll like this. You can give it a shot. It's a slow burn it doesn't lag, and the story goes on, and it's not totally fluff either. It's heavy and keeps you concentrated. By the end of the series, ML will definitely turn the table from what you think about him now. And it's 32 episodes but worth it. At the end of the day, it's your choice.
