PROFILE NEEDS AN UPDATE, OLD from 2yrs ago... WIP, slow update because illness.

Lax but critical (especially of ''BL'') Only BL on here for consistency, rest on letterbox (500+).

• I rank movies within themselves. The more I watch, the more I rescore. Need to rescore lots.
• Downgrade/upgrade scores after shows. Feed is often filled with random crap.

Don't add me if you are a gay/asian fetishist or find hetero romances ''gross'' (smh).

Scoring system:

100 is pretty good and flawless. Doesn't mean perfect, but that I find it perfect
90 is pretty great. Barely any problems, minor technical issues, etc
80 is great/good. Mostly good, a few nitpicks here and there.
70 is good/ok. Nothing bad, but not quite there.  (My average)
60 is ok/average. Clumsy flow, dialog, etc. Usually means a good base but bad execution.
50 is average/bland. Wasted potential. Copy-paste formula of the genre, bland characters, etc.
40 is bland/boring. Most likely a waste of time. Wasted potential x2
30 is boring/garbage. Still bland and boring, but worse... might be ironically enjoyable
20 is garbage/failure. Garbage with good characters/cinematography, etc.
10 is a complete failure. Everything is lacking. (In rare cases, deep personal feud)

About

I'm a critical cinema fan. Love to classify shows fairly. Action w/ bad fight scenes = bad, but romance w/ bad fight scenes = not that bad, etc. I am very character centric. If I don't believe the character the actor is playing is or no chemistry with actors, I rate lower. If have chemistry and believable = higher.

 I might like some shows I rate lower, but I usually don't hate shows I rank higher. Hate dropping things, but if it's trash/utterly boring, I don't push on  anymore.

LIKE/LOVE

• "Straight gay", Cold lead, Enemy to lover, Cold man/Warm man tropes. Slow (af) burns.
• Crude, flawed, average guys. Aloof/accurate schizoid/"emotionless" or stubborn characters. 
• Well written morally grey/''broken'' characters
• Bittersweet or full circle endings. SHOW NOT TELL. Symbolism, subtext.
• Interesting body language, facial expressions, voice delivery, personality.
• Guys with noticeable tattoos and piercings. Rare in asian cinema.
• Fight scenes, blood, gore, body horror, etc. Edgy/dark (not try-hard) stuff...

Pet peeves:

• ''I'm not gay, I like you'' = bisexual (but in rare cases it fits). When ''everyone is gay''.
• There almost always being a fix top/bottom, and you can tell in 2 seconds.
• Sad ending because. No reason, no thematic build-up,  just because.
• Music montage/pointless flashbacks of exact scenes from previous/same episode.

DISLIKE/HATE: 

• Fujoshi self-inserts, gay fetishization, forced drama because story structure stereotypes, bland archetypal characters.
• Over acting, many sound effects, bad sound editing/sound work.
• Adult-kid/teen ''relationships'' aka pxdo. Rape romanticizing.
• Overly cutesy effeminate guys written like fujoshi fantasy. When I want MF romance, I watch that.
