A very likeable drama. It's not perfect but I felt it was different and it had some characters with more depth than the usual lakorns. In almost every lakorn I've watched, at some point the male lead abuses the female lead either emotionally or physically. However, in this drama the male lead never intentionally hurts the female lead in any way. The female lead is understanding and doesn't act irrationally or impulsively towards the male lead in certain situations where in other dramas it would 100% be used to create unnecessary conflict. One of the villains/bad guys is Chakrit. It was nice to have a more "complex" character that at times you hate and at others times understand and sympathise with his situation. Ofcourse the drama had flaws too. I felt the main couple lacked chemistry. Maybe some changes to the cast or acting or script would have made their interactions show more romantic chemistry. It also lacked some logic at some points and felt a little repetitive at times. And the main villain Patcharin wasn't intimidating enough to be the biggest threat. She was just hateful and psychotic. Personally I think the drama is definitely worth a try.
I found this season not as good as season 1. Or should I say worst than season 1. At least on season 1 the secondary…
Couldn't agree more. I only enjoyed like the first 10 episodes from season 1 and then it all went down hill. It had such potential but it just turned out to be super repetitive and boring. Only thing I liked was the secondary couple from season 1. Lai Yu Meng was the best part of both seasons for me.
Honestly don't know how the female lead fell in love with the male lead. There's literally nothing likeable about him. He treated her like crap 95% of the time. There's nothing appealing about this drama other than maybe the female lead's personality.
This drama had many flaws but the relationship between the main leads is so perfect. Both Jia Nan and Feng Ping are different from typical main leads imo. They're both unique. They have fun personalities and don't take everything so seriously. They don't misunderstand each other over every little thing someone else tells them. They have such great chemistry and are really cute together. Especially the actress playing Feng Ping. Her smile is so endearing and attractive. Wish she has some more main roles. Anyway I think you should only watch this if you really like the main leads.
Up to episode 3 rn. I don't even know why I'm ranting about this but I really wonder sometimes if people like Hwi Young actually exist in the real world. I know there are "bad/evil" people who commit terrible crimes but are there also such manipulative assholes like him? People like his character really bother me to a point where I unintentionally end up hating them and rooting for their demise. I understand that Hwi Young is pressured by his parents high standards et cetera and he impulsively took that teacher's watch because he was angry in that moment. But after that he straight up framed a innocent guy who hasn't wronged him in the slightest way possible. Even though it's just a drama, I just wanna literally beat the shit out of him (of course I'm talking about the fictional character Hwi Young and not the actor who portrays him).
I really wish season 2 Xiao Tian takes a little bit of a "dark" turn. Season 1 was entertaining and funny. But I hope after losing Ying Ying, he now learns from Church of Gu on how to perfect using poisons and learns martial arts so he's able to protect himself and others. I think it's kind of necessary for his character to use something other than just the brain at this point. For me it would make it a lot more interesting. Anyway hope it airs asap, season 1 was real good.
This drama was entertaining from start to finish. The main lead Xiao Tian had great chemistry with all the friends surrounding him, especially with Ying Ying. Although I enjoyed watching the drama, it still felt like it lacked a sense of direction and just something was missing but I can't really pin point what that is. Nonetheless, I loved it. This show really needs season 2 for it feel complete I guess. I hope it airs soon.
I'm loving it atm. Stick with it for atleast 2 more episodes. The chemistry between IU and Jin Goo really clicks…
I think it being confusing is intentional tho. But personally I don't even care about the past or mystery. I just like Man Wol and Chan Sung together as a couple. Even If the story turns out to be boring, which I doubt it will, I'd finish the drama just to see them end up together :)
The flashback plot is unnecessary and messes the whole show ....I'm at ep 3 and I 'm not sure whether to drop…
I'm loving it atm. Stick with it for atleast 2 more episodes. The chemistry between IU and Jin Goo really clicks around this point. Plus I think the past is quite interesting tbh, at this point (episode 6) there's a numerous ways to interpret it. But if after a few more episodes you're not really enjoying the interactions between the main leads then it's probably best to drop it I guess.
This movie was seriously good. It was dark, intense and captivating. Acting was incredible too, especially Yeo Jin Goo who must have just been a young teenager at the time this was filmed.
There's a little scene after the credits, make sure to watch it to the very end. It makes the ending a little more satisfying imo.
Yan Li has got to be the best person I've ever seen in a drama. She's kind, caring, understanding, reasonable, loving, beautiful and the list could go on and on. Probably the best sister anyone could hope for. She loved and understood Wei Ying despite his choices. She never blamed him stupidly like Jiang Cheng did in some situations. She was good right up to the end. I was just very surprised by her character. Most female characters that I've seen in historical dramas are very unreasonable and act impulsively. This was a refreshing change and I loved her character.
Yes, definitely. The chemistry between the main leads is getting better with each episode imo and the story itself…
The love story is a big part of the plot but it is also focused on the horror aspect and Man Wol's mystery from the past. I've checked out your profile and the dramas you've watched. I think it'll suit your taste. Give it atleast 3/4 episodes before judging it though, imo the 3rd episode is where the chemistry between the leads really clicks.
How/ where can I watch the episodes? I don’t find a link or something to watch it! Help!!! :(
There are many websites. The ones I've found to have the fastest upload with english subtitles are fastdrama and kdramahood. Also I've recently started using viki rakuten but I feel viki is only worth using if you're willing to pay for the vikipass (it is quite cheap though imo). Make sure you download addblock or ublock extensions too, otherwise popups or adds may be a pain in the ass. Anyway here are the links: http://www2.fastdrama.me/ https://kdramahood.com/ https://www.viki.com/ Enjoy.
I haven't read the novels but I've watched episodes 25/26 and I think wuxian's actions have been quite reasonable.…
I'm assuming you're saying this since you've read the novels/roughly know the plot already. I was just speaking about his actions up to episode 26 and now I've episodes 27+28 and still stand by my comment. But it does seem likely that he will make mistakes or there will be a lot misunderstandings in the upcoming episodes. Anyway, I understand your point.
Okay but episode 25 and 26 are where everything happens omggg this is basically the turning point where our cute…
I haven't read the novels but I've watched episodes 25/26 and I think wuxian's actions have been quite reasonable. His personality has changed a little bit since he loses his temper more easily now but he stood up for his senior sister and wen ning who once saved his and jiang cheng's lives. He's a lot more aggressive than he was at the start of the drama but he hasn't turned into a character who's idiotic or annoying imo. He just doesn't want innocent people to be slaughtered. In short, I quite like his character arc so far.
