I didn't realize how young the FL of the next drama is. I'm not familiar with her so I googled her and she's 19 😲😲. Born in 2005 😅.

I wonder where this drama will be filmed. I haven't seen anything yet about the location.

Even though I'm not a fan of the ML, he has sizable fanbase. I also saw that he's 17 here on MDL.
That debacle that happened with the drama he's currently filming made me realize how popular he seems to be .

Yes working with underrated actors is great but I'm here for her working with people who have traffic and he does.

I even said that Lusi is a very good actress above which she is. Just bc I'm not interested in Pearl girl (I will watch her modern drama next year . It actually seems interesting to me) doesn't mean that I dislike her.

Lusi dramas is doing very well too. I even mentioned her heat index at 10000 ( which is super hit) and I believe her character broke 9.32 a few days ago. The 1st character to do so?

I have actual fave actors and sometimes I don't like their dramas and won't watch it. It's really not that deep.

He had a very famous work that he did which did very well where he played the ML. It seems like he plays 2nd ML in a lot of high profile projects. It seems like he has quite a strong fanbase now.

All I know is that I just don't like him lol.

Plus I saw all the drama that went with his fans and the male lead fans of the drama he is filming with Dilraba. They dragged the ML bc they say that he should have been the ML not the 2nd ML. Yeah no.

I think that everything was ready to go for it to air last month and we even had TV slots rumors at that time too. It is that 3rd actor scandal that messed everything up and it had to be pushed back. I just wonder why we aren't getting rumors about it airing it on TV. I know that people just want this to come out but I care about TV audience also especially because Seven always do really well with TV ratings. Like what is Youku plan here?

And Esther drams is at 29500 heat index." I know that they are different heat indexes. 10.000 is extremely good and if I'm not mistaken it is the quickest drama to reach that on IQYI.

That LAST comment...why are some of you guys being so aggressive ? I merely stated that one of the reasons (in my opinion )WHY Esther drama seems to be overperforming is because a lot of people want to see things who are less serious (when you compare a lot of recent C dramas that have been released as of late; it stands out). Lusi drama is doing well too.

Congrats Esther. Very happy for her. I like Lusi too and I appreciate how hard she go hard to promote her dramas but I didnt appreciate the fact that people were lowkey putting Esther down because Lusi had so many " big celebs" in the industry post about SOPG. It almost felt like a competition. Not her fault but fanwars are something else lol. And yes I know that other celebs posted about Esther too but people were literally making lists comparing who had the most shoutouts....geez.
I am glad that word of the mouth paid off. Esther's new drama may not feel special to some people but I feel like a lot people are tired of all these overly draggy, serious. sometimes tragic historical drama (not saying SOPG is like that, I dont know , I havent watched it but it comes across as more serious to me; even looking at the plot) and wants to just watch something FUN.

Both dramas are doing well but I think that a lot of people expected SOPG to do way, way better and sweep all the charts. I for one I am pleasantly surprised at Esther's drama success.

Lusi is a very good actress but I personally think that her forte is modern dramas. All her dramas that I like are modern dramas (again merely a personal opinion).

I have no idea. I'm pretty sure a lot of them are booked for the rest of the year so it'll probably go somewhere that still has any availability if it gets a TV spot.

Like it makes no sense that this drama won't air on any CCTV channel unless they're booked 😅😅. This is the type of drama that their audience like plus its a much bigger audience than satellite TV channels.

Yeah I hope BA gets a TV slot. The current airing Youku drama is airing on 3 different TV channels. Not mango TV please 😅😅. Seven holds the CVB rating of the year there with ABAY and I don't want her 2 dramas to compete on the same network where she can get great ratings on 2 different networks. This drama is more suited for CCTV 1, CCTV 8, heck any CCTV channel anyways plus its a much bigger audience.If there's no spots available, I hope it's other satellite channels then.

It will definitely rank highly than ABAY on MDL because the male lead isnt a traffic actor and doesn't have many people feeling some type of way either way about him.
It's a historical drama and they tend to be scored higher on average here. The only way it can have a low 8 or less than 8 is if they make the ending tragic like kill me love me or if the plot if full of plot holes. I don't think that'll happen here..

ABAY is the highest cvb of the year at Hunan/Mango TV ? Before ABAY it was Shen Li. I'm pretty sure it's of the year not Q3.
