I HATED the Korean version but I know that he will do justice to this role. He is a very good actor to start off with. No shade to Song Kang who I also like but Ryusei is a much stronger actor.
I have had my fill of him and his dark/depressing projects he likes to pick so I am so glad that he picked something like this LOL. Like give us a break LOL.

Yeah I really don't care for age gap relationships for the most part but she's 1 of the few Korean actresses who actually looks older than her age imo, compared to her peers so the premise is unbelievable from the get go. Like I wouldn't say anything if this was song hye kyo, song ye Jin and so many 40 + actresses who actually look slightly younger than their age but this actress doesn't.

Look at how LYF2 aired like 1 week after ABAY and we still managed to be n1 on quite a few charts and quite frankly did way better than I expected considering that this drama has a lot of traffic actors and already had a following from season1.

It's low🫤🫤 , especially since the drama is about to air and they finished filming over a year ago😅😅. I saw this and I was surprised...I expected at the very least 800k.
I know that some Seven fans have something to say (🙄😐😐)about her acting with traffic actors or up and coming actors but it helps on both ends. Each one of them bring something to the table besides the acting.
The ML of this drama is talented but he doesn't have much of a fanbase yet. The dramas he has lined up seems like it'll get him to a bigger level popularity wise so good for him👏. Usually both leads with their level of popularity will contribute to things like the reservations numbers, characters rankings, heat index ( when the drama airs).....but things mostly fall on 7 here so far. Like most of the hype and promo for this drama on various platforms is mostly Seven fans or passerbys.
Also the hi6 episode they did didn't help much so far like I thought it would😅😅
When she did the hi6 episode earlier this year for ABAY( and that episode is the 2nd most watched of the year on HI 6 YouTube channel) there were at least a few viral posts about it on X, IG, at the time about her funny interactions with XK or their chemistry. Things like this help . It makes more people want to reserve the Drama or look forward to it. . They dropped the Hi 6 episode for this drama and it has been crickets😅. Idk I feel like hi6 maybe needed to do more fun activities for their episode?
They'll probably release a special hi 6 episode once the drama airs like they did with ABAY so we'll see.
I really hope that we get to at least 1 million by the time it airs 🤞🤞🤞. That's the bare minimum these days.

I know that she said in an interview in the past that she prefers modern dramas but I would like for her to do other genres a bit more. Yes I remember Hunan/Mango TV airing GO Ahead again before/during ABAY. I really hope that we are right. This drama deserves a bigger audience like CCTV and it is the type of dramas that always do well over there.

I know that Seven past dramas always get rebroadcasted in various TV channels in China and overseas throughout the year but please LET this be a sign that CCTV8 will get Brocade Odyssey instead 🤞🤞🤞. This will be the perfect scenario for this drama as it is a much bigger TV audience (than Satellite TV channels ) and it is CCTV.

Eh....it is giving me Master of my own vibes 😅😅...not the business world again 😅🙃🙃. I want her to be a doctor, detective, a field that she hasn't done before....😅. Or Heck another Republican drama. I checked his page and he's in a lot of dramas now that are female leads oriented and where he's playing the 2nd ML next to Dilraba, Yang zi.....at least if this is true he'll get to be the ML even if it's FL oriented. He is popular but not Wang hedi, Wang yi bo popular that he should be fussy with billing imo . Especially like I said the female centric dramas I mentioned he's the 2nd ML.
The only interesting thing about this is that it's a Tencent production. I prefer Seven to work in their productions .
Now that I see the plot I kind of hope it stays a rumour 😅😅. It doesn't seem too interesting to me .I feel like 7 has now too many modern dramas with these themes. The other rumour from last month about a short investigative drama was much more interesting.
