What drama is he filming currently?

IQYI presented the top 10 most popular drama internationally on their platform and Road Home was number 7. It was also only 1 of the 2 Modern dramas that were on the top 10, the rest were costume dramas. For a drama that did not even have that much promo and mostly relied on word of the mouth, I am so proud on how well it did not only on the Platform but with Tv ratings. As always, my girl Seven always deliver.

I don't know if someone answered this before but can someone tell me why the actor playing Yan Lin ( actually my favorite Second lead) was absent from basically all promo? Wow and he just uploaded pics from SOKP.....lol what are the odds?

I've to say that it's quite refreshing that despite the rumours that they don't go out of their way to not attend the same events or even interact like I've seen other actors with these type of rumors do lol. Congrats to them both for winning an award tonight 🎉🎉🎉.

She is rumoured for a Xianxia next I believe. I do hope that she takes it because this would be the 1st time in her career she does this type of work. I suspect we will know more once she finishes filming Shu Brocade.

With the rumors that I am sure that they are hyper-aware of , I dont think they will but you never know. It would be nice but I would not hold my breath on that one lol.

And it was a dark ML trope that was extremely well done and I attribute that to the actor ZLH because I've seen these type of MLs in other dramas and they just annoyed me. But he convinced me with his performance and had me rooting for him.

SOKP is her 2nd drama I watched since Arsenal Military Academy and she killed it. Great actress ...she did really well. Glad that SOKP was/is extremely successful because it is literally going down in my top 5 best C historical dramas of all time...that's how much I loved it.

I am really looking forward to ABAY next year. His collaboration with my all time favorite Chinese Actress Seven Tan is like a dream for me. I like Tian Xi Wei as an actress ( I have seen 2 of her dramas and I like her acting ) ; she is a very promising young actress so them collaborating for his next project is exciting but the plot of that drama doesnt sound too exciting to me honestly. I will still give it a try. Not a big fan of Yang Zi so I will probably skip Story of Joy. I will watch his drama with Esther though since I do like her as a person. Thankfully because he is so booked and busy, I have these variety of choices of what to watch with his works lol. Happy that WOL did well and that he ended the year on a high note.

I feel like I have watched too many C dramas historicals lol because I saw this coming from a mile away. I knew that she would end up being a concubine and all of the things that he promised her would be moot. Ughhh so embarrassing . Life as a concubine in these times was hell; that wedding ceremony when everyone is attending the legal wife wedding and all the concubines are waiting in their chambers to see if they will be even " lucky" if their " husband" visit them....ughhh...no wonder they were killing each other and doing all types of crazy things for favors or to survive.

Now don't get me wrong I want it now as well ; in fact it's 1 of my most anticipated C drama in years mostly because I'm a fan of them both and always wanted them to collaborate but I am just thinking that timing wise releasing it now is not great. His other drama just finished airing, he is about to start filming either at the end of this month or next month, Seven is still filming and won't be done until next month. We won't get that much promo if it's released now, that's my thinking. I feel like it's best to release it next year.
