Episode 36 done and I know XW is technically a " red flag "and MLs like this in other dramas usually piss me off but I'm sorry I love him in this drama 😅😅🤣🤣🤣. It may be the portrayal of his character by ZLH but I'm team XW all day.
OMG the bed scene...I'm shooked.. how did it passed censorship? Hahahaha lol .I thought that when the blinds came on they would fast-forward to the morning or next scene like these dramas usually do but we actually got a bed scene 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Yesssss 🤣🤣🤣🤣♥️♥️♥️
Also as I'm watching this I really don't understand the criticism that I heard some netizens had with ZLH acting. In my humble opinion,he's doing an amazing Job . This is my 1st time watching him in a drama. Maybe some of the criticisms was because of some of his previous works ( which I didn't see) but he's doing so well here. He has a bright future ahead of him . Ok 6 more episodes left....off to finish it.

I just finished watching episode 25 and I'm about to watch episode 26 but I just want to get this off my chest : ZZ /Ning shippers no offense are annoying. I'm so tempted to fast forward their scenes but I can't because I don't want to miss anything but yeah. If you understand the FL, there's no way someone with her moral compass will be able to have an harmonious life with him realistically speaking in her past or present life. Also for all the people calling XW a red flag, controlling or whatever but I'm sorry you couldn't survive in that time period if you weren't like him...cunning, ruthless to some people....also if you understand his past life you'll see why he is the way he is. So so happy to end 2023 in a bang with such an amazing drama. Also more morally gray characters as ML in C drama please 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. I'm really going to become a ZLH fan after this lol. I'm loving his acting and character in this drama. Now off to finish it........
I'm so proud of Seven. The movie So Long for love is doing extremely well so far. Tbh I'm a little surprised on how well it's doing since there wasn't even much promo honestly and she's not a movie actress per se.The way the general public just trust her and her choices and watch her amazes me. I don't know why but I'm quite surprised on how well this movie is doing. They are many achievements I've seen but the most notable I'm posting is :Top 2 highest single box office in a day ( out of the movies that are currently showing right now) . It's n2 so far..... Is she really softbanned for allegedly attending Lisa crazy horse show? I'm not even a big fan but this is ridiculous!!! Didn't someone from her side said that she didn't attend? And even if she did, to soft ban her for this is going too far imo.
Road home and Royal rumours. Only dramas I loved so far this year and managed to finish. All these popular dramas that people boasted about I ended dropping them . I'm really loving this one and it is worth the hype so far.

I loved how they talked about MOST of her different roles (they showed clips from the sword and the brocade, go ahead, under the power, road home.......) and how she always challenges herself in the VT . She may not be a traffic actress but her works always speak for themselves and she is extremely popular with the general audience. To deliver consistent good works over the years and popular with the public when you are not a Traffic actor is not easy. So excited for ABAY next year🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.
why on earth do some people especially his stans (from what I have noticed ) ship her with him? People bring up that old variety show or " coincidences " over the years but you can literally see coincidences everywhere if you ship someone with X. Not sure but this is certainly fast for Xu Kai recent dramas at least. Other fans correct me if I'm wrong. His dramas seems to usually take a little while to air for whatever reasons. I'm a little taken back with how everything is going so fast and smoothly for ABAY tbh. Like they finished filming since 6 months, we got the licence, and we even had the TV spot already a few weeks ago...I read that it's supposed to air between January -March of next year. I'm so excited to see it but IDK I'm just a little surprised with how things are going so fast lol. I've had other C dramas where we had to wait 1 or 2 years to get any of this. Is it because it's a modern drama? I wonder .
While I'm extremely happy that we'll meet them sooner than I expected early next year 🎉🎉🎉, I'm a little annoyed that some people are comparing this already to Only for love by saying that they're worried that it's 40 episodes. I mean if they're following the book, doesn't 40 episodes makes sense? First it's TSY and she rarely disappoints with her dramas imo and I think that Xu Kai modern dramas were overall really great. I hope people stop worrying about it and just wait and see.

I dropped it but it is breaking all type of records. They are both good actors so I was hoping for a better script and was actually excited to watch this . Good for them and the production team for the drama being very succesful. Although my wish is still for people in the industry to not always rely on how popular the main leads are (reason why it will do well regardless ) but try to give us a good story/production. Also, I am not faulting them as they are good actors. I will be watching her other current airing drama The Story of Kunning Palace next; I am just waiting for it to stop airing so I can binge watch lol.
