It is so interesting how they actually filmed this drama backwards; meaning all the China episodes later in the series were the 1st episodes they filmed and the Thailand arc which is the beginning in the drama is actually the middle/end of filming......these Thailand episodes really HIT different.
Her agency is way too greedy; they are plenty of A list actresses now who are in their 20s who are now big popular actresses and they did appropriate dramas when they were her age. Why rush anything? Coming of age, high school dramas are so incredibly popular in China and internationally and do very well; they could easily have her do many of these dramas and she would be so huge and then transition her to romance dramas like they are doing now. And when people try to voice it people try to use the arguments that " you guys didnt have a problem with other age gaps dramas"...that's not the problem.......the problem here is that she is a MINOR !!!
It is not fair how many of her current/pasts MLs are getting dragged because she is a MINOR when they most likely did not have a choice when they signed to contract 1st to do the drama. But because her agency and backers are so powerful she keeps getting these projects; seriously what is the rush?
Also she looks her age and even younger imo which is 1 of the reasons why you even see her next to these Mls, it looks even off. She looks like their really younger little sister.
Anyways, I am sure she will have a shining career ahead of her but she has a very questionable management.
