I'm glad that 1 of the top reviews here on the drama page mentioned the sister plotline as a CON. Yes her ex or husband was problematic but I did not find any type of sympathy for her.....despite the drama trying to elicit it 😑😑😑. She brought all of her misery on her own...she was warned over and over again...not only by her brother even her ex husband at one point.
I really hate stupid, useless characters like this especially in these times when you had to be at least a little intelligent to survive especially as a princess.
That man Never told her and told her so many times but she was so sure that she could change him 🙄🙄🙄

This drama besides this was excellent.

I never sympathized with the sister of ML storyline. Her husband /EX has been honest from the very beginning and was even cordial to her ...told her many times that he already love somebody else( even though it was one sided) ... that he would never love her and yet she was insistent on the fact that she could change him or make him love her 🙄🙄🙄🙄.
I'm so sick of these plots in historical dramas where a princess gets so fixated on someone and think that because they love them (from a random encounter that most of the times he doesn't remember🙄🙄🙄) he ought to return their love 🙄🙄!!!!

I was really hoping that she would die at the end 😑😑😑. I was getting pissed with her scenes so I was fastforwarding. I know that she lost the baby but can someone tell me if she dies at the end??

Also saying that her EX was the reason she turned this way is ridiculous 🙄🙄. At least in other dramas, I can see why some of these princesses turn evil or do a complete 360 in terms of personality...but she had everything. An emperor as Father who actually loves her , dotes on her, was ready to refuse the marriage proposal unlike other dramas where the emperor just ask their daughters to fulfill their duties; brothers as Princes who loves and dotes on her ....even a mother who is not even her biological mother, yet loves her like her own ( extremely rare).......yet she stubbornly decided that because she likes a man , he has to love her back....and because he didnt she turned evil 🙄🙄🙄.
He was always HONEST with her from the beginning!!!

Also I am sorry but besides the leads I sympathized with the Prince of Zhennan the most. Born from a maid, tortured and maltreated all his life....having a "mother" who slowly poisoned him for years, having a brother as an emperor who beats, humiliates him.... Everytime he can. He was a victim of his circumstances. Kudos to the actor who portrayed this role 👏👏👏

The last time I followed an actor who had not properly blown up was Zhang Ling he since Story of Kunning Palace (where he was excellent) and Neo Hou as well.

Yup they are aways posting about him or sometimes Ryan although not as much as they used to. The crazy thing is that I follow some ZLH big accounts and while there is no bad blood between the 2 fanbases, I dont see them post about her like these so called SOLOS post about him.

This is exactly the hypocrisy that I am talking about "they always say they only focus on her but will always ask her to be paired with ZLH again and how much chemistry they have."

Before him it used to be Ryan and they are SOLOS who only focused on her? yeah right.....they keep hyping very specific CPS and yet have issues with people who hype SAL lol.

All her pinned tweets on IG are about SAL She always go above and beyond to promote but she did even more for SAL. She clearly loves the drama so much and some of these so called fans cant even respect that. It is nothing but bitternes....no one cant convince me otherwise.

Oh they are well aware that she doesn't hate him....they are just bitter that she likes him as a friend (and vice versa) and how they were close when promoting.
Also Esther does what she wants to do .
MOST people want a 2nd collaboration and I am sure they both know that. This is just a small vocal minority.

It just amazes me how SAL just go easily viral till this day on various social media platforms.

It is a group of them on X who love to call themselves her SOLOS....roll eyes. Not all of them are like this but unfortunately it is always the bad bunch who spoil everything for the rest....and they are so vocal too.
Also a few Heyu solos are not innocent too because I have seen some posts but I think that for most of them it is mostly because they were attacked 1st by them.
My issue with that group of her SOLOS is that they are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites.
They keep saying that they are not shippers, hate Cps or what not which is FINE but they are ALWAYS posting her with a few of her past male leads, even some content in a shipping context...which doesn't make sense since they are supposed to be SOLOS who only focus on her and hate shipping. It is the Hypocrisy that irks me. They dont have to like SAL, the ML ....but you cant say that you are vehemently against shipping but you are constantly hyping her other Cps contents from her other past shows.


I just think that a few of them are previous shippers of hers from other CPS that somehow did not work out and they are somehow bitter towards him and SAL.

You dont have to be a shipper to appreciate the friendship between her and Heyu. We can clearly see that each of them think highly of the other person as friends.... You see your fave who clearly likes someone's friendship and yet act like this.....

A lot of these so called SOLO fans (and I have noticed this with other fan bases too especially of popular actors) are controlling in their fangirling...they act like they should have a say in who their fave needs to be friends with or close to...they hide this under the guise of " we are just trying to protect her or him"

Yup she referred a few actors she works with in the past for some works. Also she has at least 2 collaborations with some of her past male leads and other leads ; Ryan, ZLH and Mike Angelo.....San lai (3 times).
I know that another actress who is filming the drama she is doing right now was also with her in ski into love and they became somewhat close.
Oh I didnt know that's what happened with Blossom of power...Nice.

We will just wait and see but I am confident that a 2nd collab with happen but I just dont know when. It would be nice if that's what happens....I read the script and it seems really interesting....I would love to see him as a Taoist priest lol.
She knows the director, the head of IQYI very well and is IQYI global ambassador.
I am not being biased but they have one of the best chemistry I have ever seen in dramaland....on and off screen. We NEED another collaboration; Let's not get this precious chemistry go to waste.

Well it usually happens a lot in the industry.... especially when you don't have great resources. I've seen it happen with other actors.... it's just unfortunate.

And this was even a re-shoot of the scene he did the day before...and the way that in the few 8/9? days that he filmed, this is not the 1st time that this happened.

I am not sure. I think that I read that he did dubbing recently but Idk if it is for this one; you know that he has another drama that is supposed to air too the Guardian so maybe it was for that one.

Yes the 2nd,3rd......male lead have filmed way more than him in this drama and he is supposed to be the ML...that's why I said a while ago that he seems to be a special guest appearance screentime wise at this point . And make no mistakes when it will be time to promote the drama , they will use him a lot to promote it. I see it a lot with other C actors and productions SMH.
Like you said, the shooting from 8-11 has supposedly been cancelled but they had him suddenly come in the middle of the day today to re-shoot the scene he did yesterday for like a few minutes :/.......and this is not the 1st time.
It is almost like they have him on beck and call.....The whole thing just seems unprofessional. I know that he is not a big actor yet so hopefully he will have good resources in the future.
This happens unfortunately when you dont have a strong team /resources or backing yet like he does....hopefully that will change for him later.
This is ridiculous....even some of his fans who are usually quiet are starting to be fed up. They want him to be done with this drama shooting Asap so that he can move on to another production.

I am not a novice Drama watcher. I know what FL centered drama means and I know that he said yes to this one prior to SAL but this does not excuse his lack of filming time in this drama imo. Plenty of Female Lead centered dramas give a decent amount of screentime to the ML but this one so far does NOT.
How do you explain that the FL is already at over 1 month of shooting and yesterday was his 8th day of shooting....
And in these 8 days, for like 4 of them, he only shot for like 4 hours a day........when normally it is at least 10 hours. And before anyone starts, this is a Heyu page and no I am not doing " too much"....any fan of his would feel some type of way about this.

Even quite a few supporting roles get more these days..... I am also reading that he is not filming today and tomorrow.

Even in my fated boy that was technically a female centered drama, he had a lot of screentime as the ML.

Idk how long this shooting is supposed to go but hopefully it is done in March or April so that he can move to another production.
