Yes I saw that recent airport video and how he bowed to the security and seemed apologetic. How do you call yourself fans and you are crushing him, pushing him to the point that he almost fall everytime he steps to the airport? These have to be Saesangs . Not sure what his company are doing......they are useless.

He would have to leave that favorite basketball spot of his at one point (unless they get some security) ; go somewhere more private with security. A lot of his " fans" just go there to watch him play .He seems to be annoyed in some videos of them. I noticed that he has not been there in a while.
He will also probably have to take into account moving forward that he is a lot more famous now and cant do things that he would usually do in the past like he is normal private citizen (unless he takes some precautions); sucks but it is the truth :/

Yup most actors have been filming since december and january which is why I am saying that whoever is her ML unless he's not a traffic actor or up and coming traffic actor,...or even not traffic, he is probably filming too and wont be done until April/May.

If she were to join next month, we would have a melon already and we dont.
I am glad that she is able to rest as much as she wants but maybe we are greedy fans lol but like you said, it is kind of enough.

He's not the only one. That's usually the case with most actors.
Usually when her drama was about to finish airing, we will get the new Melon or if we were lucky we'll know months in advance but this time things are different.
I wished we would at least get a concrete melon of what she may be filming next so that we can start anticipating.
At this rate she won't start filming until the middle of the year 😅😅.
Usually when there's Drama announcement filming starts in a few months....
Most actors who started filming in early January will be done in April or May.
I wouldn't be even surprised at this point if whoever will be her ML next, will start filming with her when the drama he's filming now he's done.

Read my comment again. I praised the FL excellent acting many times; it has nothing to do with her acting;
Visually speaking and I am not talking about the beauty of either actresses because they are both pretty....Physically she looks like a small teenager (when she stands next to the ML) and the age difference in this remake is extremely glaring when you see her next to the ML (that was not the case in the original version despite the huge age gap as well).
Once again she is an amazing actress but when I see them side by side the whole plot/storyline feels icky even though it is platonic; it is merely an opinion.
I am sorry if this feels harsh and I never really say critiques like this in dramas that I watch even if I have an issue with some of them but as I am watching this drama, it is just so glaring; the actress is pretty and she is a very good actress....let's say if her partner was maybe her only friend in this drama or steven zhang character ..I wouldnt say anything but when she is next to the ML it is so pronounced.
Also it has nothing to do with the age gap either because there are plenty of age gap dramas that I watched and liked on either end (older FL or Older ML) but yeah....

I just saw the trailer and whoever oversees censorship in China literally have favorites because how did it pass censorship ? (some dramas dont for even more tame things than that)LOL

yeah usually C dramas that get popular this, we get to see so much materials even 1 or 2 month after it ended....but for this one; it just abruptly ended and we had to move on.
Oh well ,I am still wishing for that 2nd collab down the line.

Anyways, I kind of want him to do a costume drama next. I really liked him in everlasting longing with Angela Baby.

This is the norm in these Chinese short dramas; it is also very highly unregulated and I have heard stories about sometimes how even consent if iffy in these type of scenes for some of these dramas so idk. One of these short dramas went viral a few days ago for pairing a kid 12 or 13 FL with a ML in his 20s and one where a baby was literally soaked in one scene and didnt have proper care in the shooting with negligible pay too for the parents.
Because it is high key unregulated,....thats how they pass censorship; they are not judged on the same standards as regular c dramas.

Anyways, personally for me they are way too short per episode for my liking no matter how good the plot seems for some of them lol. It just makes me think that the plot is a mess.
I would rather have them release it as a movie instead.

I like blossoms of adversity but didnt care for the leads romance; they had no chemistry at all imo. I enjoyed the other lovelines in the drama more and the women of the HUA family stories.

I will forever curse IQYI for this;they deserve better especially given the huge international success that this drama had; Imagine if they at least attempted to promote it?
If Esther didn't take it on her hands to take so many behind the scenes pics plus tiktok videos of them when they were filming and did the few lives that they did , we would have been even more worse off.
It just seems like it ended as soon as it started....maybe that's 1 of the reason why so many people still miss it so much.
It seems like we didnt have enough time to properly enjoy and hype it.

The current drama he is filming being "equal billing" is obviously just in name; equal billing is supposed to mean equal screentime or about the same and that's obviously NOT the case here; January is about to end and he only filmed 3/5 days when the FL is filming everyday. At this rate , even the 2nd, 3rd ML are going to have more screentime than him. I have seen it happen in other dramas and other filming crews.
When time comes to promote the drama, they will obviously use him a lot to do so when his screentime as a ML is not that great.
The script apparently being from the FL company says it all.
