Anyone slightly annoyed that Zhao zhao never knew how mumu knelt down on that cold concrete floor for him before he did that race in the drama ? I dont think the drama ever addressed it.
I saw bts of Esther for that scene and she really had scratches afterwards doing it.
If I am not mistaken, I think that both addressed it in 1 of the lives that they did.
he had a couple of hits dramas too since then; I really liked the vibes I saw when I remember watching the bts of go ahead back then so it would be nice if they could reunite.

I finished watching it and this drama is a lot better than some of the reviews suggest. I am so pleasantly surprised that SWL had a lot of screentime here ...almost equal to AB tbh and he had a specific storyline too. I was afraid that they were going to do him dirty like Ryan in his recent drama with victoria song where the latter seems like a guest/special role at best instead of ML with the amount of limited screentime he had and to reduce him to the FL love interest and nothing more...fortunately that wasnt really the case with this drama.
I honestly would have rated this drama a lot higher if they didnt introduce one of the WORST female characters I have ever seen in a drama (the sister of the king who acted like the worst spoiled brat ever and had the FL friend as slave)....that storyline was so gross...I cant get over it.... I was so angry wathcing it....I just finished wathcing it because of the leads (I like their chemistry/story) but I kept fast-forwarding HER scenes. I have seen these type of storylines in other dramas but the way it was presented in this drama was so terrible...she had no redeeming qualities whatsoever and we are supposed to sympathize with the fact that because she had some traumatic memories in her childhood it was ok to take that man(who did NOT like her...even as a friend....) as her " slave" and he had to obey to her ...and we were supposed to sympathize with her LOVE for him? SO GROSS....Why did the screenwriter do this? The drama was perfectly ok before this...it literally tarred my image of the drama...I was fast-forwarding her scenes so fast.....also you could tell that the show wanted us to sympathize with her gross behavior...so because she treated the ML and that man with a poison they had....we were supposed to sympathize with her character? I cant remember the last time I hated a character this badly....I was literally fuming everytime that character was on screen....maybe it is the actress who didnt interpret it well. I wanted her to die at the end (unfortunately she didnt) I knew that because she was fixated on that poor guy who was the FL friend, he will not be able to live..... it was actually a good thing that he died, he would have to live the rest of his life with that vile creature who saw him as a slave and wouldnt leave him alone ...he literally didnt even care for her as a person....like I dont get it....how people force this storyline and think that it is ok?
There are a lot of things I could criticize about the drama but overall it was not bad as some people make it seems (excluding that vile storyline of the sister of the king) .I could have rated it at 8.5 had it not been for that vile character. I cant get over it...just terrible and unnecessary too SMH.

Sometimes when I want to rewatch this drama , I watch it and stop at episode 16 LOL......before picking it up back later LOL....also it is so special because it was when their dating era started , plus it was in Thailand and it was so good.
I really do miss the "Thailand era" later on even though I still love the China episodes later in the series. It just had a different vibe; the country is beautiful, we see her father house there, the market, the garage...the garage, Mumu school in Thailand....plus the camaraderie between his friends and mumu was so cute and nice to see.....the way they were celebrating new year eve or would just sit down talk, eat...just simple life.....ughhhhh I miss it all. I even came to miss all the car racing scenes towards the end lol.....ughhh this drama is so special...one of the things I love the most about it is how it seems unlike many C dramas I watched lately...it makes me even want to visit Thailand too.
Dont get me wrong, this drama gets better and better because sometimes some modern C dramas tend to get weaker in episodes IMO as the series progress here but this was NOT the case here but the Thailand episodes just have something special to me.

Good for them and it is completely fine but like I said a lot of these dramas tend to portray these actresses in their 30s/late 20s or approaching 40s like that and it is not always the reality.

I didn't really read the synopsis of Heyu current drama that he's filming until lately. It's a proper Female Centric drama. I just noticed that so far he doesn't seem to be filming much since booting( by much I mean everyday).....the FL is filming everyday since booting started and he has a lot of off days between shootings and if I'm not mistaken the last time he filmed was 3 or 4 days ago. He was off again yesterday but at least we saw him update on Instagram with his bike that he was driving out and about. I think that I saw it mentioned on X that he'll resume again this week.
He was high-key lucky with Speed and Love because even though he was 2nd billed , he had a lot of screentime..... almost 50/50...and his character was really favorable.
This is more probable than her having another collaboration with 1 of her previous male leads.

I rewatched Go Ahead a few weeks ago and I almost forgot what a masterpiece this drama was....so glad that this was her career's "breakthrough". Also very happy for song wei Long to FINALLY have his breakthrough with his recent drama....it was long overdue.

Hmmmm..... Anyways, I think that IQYI is more than pleased with how extremely well this drama performed overseas. In fact I think that it surpassed their expectations. It literally exploded overseas. I would see big drama pages that don't even discuss Cdramas but mostly kdramas talk about this drama....that's how popular it was and is. I saw a report from them the other that was praising the drama accomplishments. And for the lead actor to open his Instagram account and gain 1 million in 15 days too? I think that it performed decently in China overall but the main goal for this drama seems to always have to be to do very well internationally imo which it accomplished. Few days shorts of 2025 ending and it's the top series of the year on douyin with how many popular dramas were released last year? That's insane.
