Guess ppl rating this low here are new c drama watchers who only watched c dramas with happy endings and consider that’s the on,y way c dramas are supposed to be 🙄
Also, they might think only soul sucking kisses and intimate scenes can be considered a “chemistry”

This may not be a 8.5-9 rated plot for many but it definitely doesn’t deserve anywhere below 8 considering even the most boring, no plot idk what I’m doing dramas get high rated here meanwhile if ur not severely allergic to open or sad endings, this drama is actually a fun watch

Give me too… hehehe I already completed and rated this drama way before.. but man ppl are so dvmb here to be rating this fun drama 7.7.. like is a drama only good if there are soul sucking kissed and happy ending?

I persevered and I still don’t know how .. it stopped making any sense to me but the fact that it’s higher rated than this drama is what shocks me … so many of the drama that don’t even make sense has higher rated than this all coz this has an open ending as if that’s something new in xianxia dramas .. I don’t even know how ppl are somehow hating this drama as if it personally offended them

Having an opinion, liking and disliking a drama or a character is one thing …

And being a hater and acting like an Oscar winning director finding flaws on actual professionals is another😒.. it’s so clear u hate tan, she is an excellent actress whether u rant on Mdl or not …this is my first drama with tan and she was good, I loved her character, it was fresh, it was not overly cute damsel with heavy aegyo voice neither it was ruthless cold powerful type…

And for someone who acts like an Oscar winning director, u talk as if romance is all abt soul sucking tongue deep kisses … can’t love be shy and sweet? Love doesn’t always have to be fiery, it can also be expressed through loving gazes, sweet smiles, shy kisses and warm hugs which this drama served …. I loved their chemistry, I have watched HMH’s fiery passionate chemistry last time which I loved but I also find this sweet love adorable.. it doesn’t have to be a certain way

I think the definition of slow is subjective… I mean I found POB so slow and boring, I gave myself a pat on the back and actually think I deserve an award for even finishing it.. like I still wonder how and why did I not drop it and kept it dragging for weeks till I reached the end.. but that drama is 8.9 rated here and so loved, I am genuinely amazed,, I didn’t find this drama slow at all, yes some parts with bingzhu infuriated me but the plot kept moving

Man, the way ppl are over villainizing this drama, it’s so unfair…

My sister who also watches cdrama, LOVED THIS drama, and she literally is so picky, dropped some of the 8.8,8.9 rated dramas from here that I begged her to watch… since she doesn’t have Mdl, here’s what she reviewed so far.. she is loving this drama, the sweet shy romance is cute, it’s fresh actually.. romance doesn’t have to always be only abt tongue deep, suck ur soul kisses 😒, it can also be shy glances, sweet smiles, small kisses … its funny, the fl has a fresh character, its not overly cute damsel in distress that’s typical with xianxia, the comedy bits are amazing.. the plot is good and it didn’t bore her once.. as a person who slowly goes through episodes, takes days to finish a drama, she gobbled these up like it’s her paid job .. HMH is charming as always and he is such a green flag, cute Demon lord.. overall she is loving this, LOVING

But u camping on the page and posting all the time is gonna help somehow? Seriously, what do u think wud help? U camping on the page and trying to discuss abt industry practices or u simply boycotting this drama coz it goes strictly against ur moral compass?

I’m not normalizing putting minors in questionable roles, never but I will also not put the minor who is 17 yr old professional in the same category as toddler or a rookie who don’t know what she is doing. Minors shouldn’t be protected by comments camping in Mdl page, they shud be protected by actual law. If the drama has anything that goes against minor’s protection it shouldn’t and wouldn’t even get the license to air..

Also sorry to break it to you, but assuming minors can’t excel in their profession is also not right, take idol culture for example, we have minor idols performing for their not so minor fandom and again, no I’m not normalizing but I’m pretty sure 90% of the commenters here have grooved to the same music, are their fans and somehow have no problem making reels and TikToks to them…

And no, I’m not normalizing that minors shud be miscasted but it’s done, the drama is done, and u being bitter is not gonna help anyone, what’s it’s gonna be do is bring hate to the ML who signed the contract first, did his part as an actor and moved on.. and to the FL making her insecure despite her being a professional in this industry.. both the leads are professionals with years of experience behind them, they have their own aspirations and dreams,

yes aimi shud have waited atleast a year or two before taking any romance lead roles but it’s done and she is not a rookie, she is a professional, being a minor doesn’t cut out her years of experience. minors can be professional like let’s be real, we have so many idols who are still minor, sometimes in not so minor appropriate outfits performing not so minor friendly songs in big stages for their fans and the world is enjoying them, I mean probably many ppl here are too .. and again no, I’m not normalizing it but if you can respect that, respect aimi too, maybe the script will respect the age gap as well ( well I hope it does)

Ok can someone tell me what’s taking this long? Like it’s been YEARS atp, it is such a loved and hyped drama, ppl were anticipating for it like crazy. They shud have used the hype to make this a series with few seasons but no, they will wait till everyone loses interest… I mean squid game gave us 3 seasons while they can’t even give us one

Looking at so many perspectives of this drama, it seems some ppl are enjoying this without the restraints of a “not happy ending” tagline… we’ve seen many beautiful dramas that ends up with open endings that may leave us frustrated but they are also beautiful in their own way and we survived anyways... tteom, fof, lip, AoL, kings woman etc and many more…

so..to new viewers, if u are enjoying it while watching, just enjoy and go ahead ..u will have ur own interpretation for the story line..

This is such an interesting take and it even makes sense… somehow ppl only go with
Both lead happy and no one dies = happy ending
One dies or open ending = sad ending
And overlook everything else,, so seeing such a fresh and sensible take on it feels good.

Yeah and that’s fine. I mean who doesn’t want a HE.. but c dramas esp the costume ones have always been open ended or sad ones.. growing up it was frustrating but somewhat reminded us that not every story ends happily and that was what we always expected.. HE were rare happy surprises but sad endings weren’t crucified like this.. that’s all.. we were frustrated but we kinda were used to it

Coming down in a Mdl page of a drama that u don’t like of a ml that u don’t like, aren’t y’all too unemployed? And get urself some glasses cos did u just said ml can’t act when he gave such a wonderful performance for whatever was written for his character?

It’s ok to not like someone but dismissing someone’s actual hard work coz You don’t understand acting, looks like a YOU Problem to me
