Also, the online voting, yt and spotify views had a LOT of influence and Hyolyn doesn't really have a big fandom unfortunately. Also, on the last round people couldn't vote for 2 contestants like in the previous rounds so I think most of them voted for their favorites. Hyolyn was most of the times the 2nd vote for many despite which fandom they were from...I think this would explain the final results.

I read somewhere that the final rankings went like this:

2. Loona
3. Viviz
4. Hyolyn
5. Kep1er
6. Brave Girls

I don't know if it's official or not though...still it's a bummer about Hyolyn, her stages and skills were top notch, she was my fav from the beginning.

Well what can I say...I was expecting this. Overall I was just happy with the stages and all the hard work each team put in. I am sad that Hyolyn didn't win despite the high marks she got in the previous rounds but I wasn't expecting her to win :)) Anyways I hope I will see more from her from here on out and I really hope that more people became fans of her because of this show!

I agree a lot. They have the talent and also the idea was interesting...in my opinion what they lack is stage presence. They seem too careful with how they look on stage (like face expression and body language)...like they try to look "pretty" all the time - which they don't have to worry about cause they are gorgeous.

What I noticed in most of those groups is that they try to stick with typical idol expressions (like the smiles, winks and so on) ... that's also something that makes Hyolyn stand out cause her expressions are diverse and fun to watch.

I really hope Viviz gets more relaxed or I don't know, have more confidence? Cause they have every tool they need

I am so so happy! I waited so long for Hyolyn to get this kind of exposure. Excited for the next round already!

Well I guess we will have to see, but I for one can't wait for the next stage...after covers I hope they do the vocal, dance and rap groups as they did in the past season. I am curious what will come out of that

Yes I get what you are saying...
We also have to take into consideration how MNET editing is. I heard smth about fan's choice and I think we will see the power of fandoms there, so I think the show will turn interesting. Also seeing the preview for ep 4...Hyolyn is really crazy :)) The scale is on another level, but when you look at the props she usually uses they aren't that many. i think most of her budget goes towards the dancers.
I also loved this week's Loona's performance of Shake It (really enjoyed the idea of a musical).
But overall, I agree that if this continues Kep1er will have a hard time among the others...is also their first time performing in front of an audience, so of course they are nervous.

When it comes to solo acts I find them a double edge sword. We know how Park Bom was in season 1. It's hard to compete among groups but if you are more of an all-rounder, as Hyolyn is I think it's an advantage cause the viewer's eyes don't need to move around and can just focus on one person.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to see what the groups bring to the table and I hope that Hyolyn will manage to keep up with the expectations after the 1st stage <3

Just watched the live stream...the performances were way better then in the 1st ep...also the preview for ep 4...Hyolyn is crazy I tell you (in the best way <3)

I hope they get more confident as the show goes on, cause they have amazing vocals to back them up.

I am right there with you, she is too stiff :)) but she pretty though so she gets a free pass. I would have loved to see Jessi as a host, it would have been so much fun <3

I won't really put my money on it. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Hyolyn...been following her since her Immortal Song 2 days but those shows are tricky. I don't really know nowadays groups, I heard about Loona and WJSN (VIVIZ too) but don't really like their music, they are popular though. Those votes can change a lot of things.
Now, I really hope Hyolyn wins cause she is really underrated so I hope she gets more exposure with this show. As for experience Loona, WJSN and Brave Girls (with their current members) have 6 years, Viviz members have 7 years so in my books that should count as experience...apart from Kep1er they are pretty equal.

I adored the books and the movie. I am a bit skeptical about this because it's going to be contemporary but who knows?!
