Really, do you have a link to the interview or where he discusses these dramas?
Sorry, I really don't remember where I stumbled upon it. I think it was an article about actors/directors talking about some of their favorite movies

Gokusen was actually one of my first dramas. I remember rewatching it as well...I truly enjoyed it. The feeling of friendship but especially the character of Yankumi...her devotion yo her students and her belief in them. I think this genre really has its charm so thank you for making this article.

I think the importance of war movies and movies based on real events is more important now then ever. Especially in this period of times when less and less people read about these events, cinema has an immense power in educating and making sure history is not forgotten.

Yes yes yes! What I also love in recent dramas compared to older ones is that the writers put much more effort in these supporting role compared to the past! It's so much batter when they given something to work with because most of them are experienced actors

Also one of my favorites is actress Kim Hae Sook! I always get all the feels when she is on the screen

This is really amazing. I am waiting for the last episode right now. I love all the characters so much! Also I've seen the "Reply series" and I can say that the vibe it's really similar.

I can't wait to see the next part of your article. I have been interested in the MBTI test for some good years now, and it's really interesting to match the types with different people - in this case characters.

I think you did a wonderful job in terms of content and image...might be one of my favorite written articles here on MDL!

I am very hesitant to watch this drama, because season 1 is among my top 5 dramas, I love it so much. So I was…
Both of them are mentioned throughout the drama and you get to know from the start why they are away. Also the second season is as good as the first, and the new characters are both interesting and different from those 2 we know and love. Also Master Kim is as brilliant as ever, so you should really give it a try!
