Exactly!! That's how I felt watching it for the first time, bromance/soulmates, but then when I re-watched some parts I noticed the subtle BL hints.

However you view it, it is a nice story and a must-watch indeed!

& this is def bromance / soulmate story. The hints are really subtle so I think it is up to the viewers how they think of it, but it is def NOT BL with kissing and so on..

Just need more from them!! 2 months has passed and I still come back here every day or so to read some comments about how viewers are enjoying their 1st ride with the show and cry because I miss them

I am really enjoying this so far and I am glad I gave this remake a shot! I've been disappointed with many Chinese modern dramas, but this one is enjoyable :)

Yeah I agree! Comparing the female leads of the remakes, they are all plain and has simple style and simple makeup, but this FL style is too fashionable for her character.
And it is not about the time difference between the remakes, the Japanese one came out in 2020 and the FL's style in it is much more simple than here.. just saying..
