Whenever I rewatch the Story of Minglan, her scenes always make me cry.

Exactly, stop spreading rumors. Some of us here are watching and enjoying both. What does it have to do with the other? TFF is almost halfway done and will finish before TBT. It's unreasonable and unfair to put the blame on TFF fans for the downvoting.

I saw a video about the resemblance on tiktok today. I still can't differentiate between Cheng Yi and Li Hongyi, they look so alike and it confuses me.

I love the depth in which you spoke about Sang Yan. I agree with you 100%.

Honestly, I was sceptical about watching TFF but I just tried out 1 ep and was sold. I started the novel and almost didn't finish it, but went back after the first 4 eps.
It is definitely worth watching.

What is love if not being patient, kind, thoughtful, caring, making excuses for the one you proclaim to love?
At the end of it all, if Sang Yan was a real person, he would love her in his own special way, no amount of outside opinions would affect how he loves Wen Yifan or how people perceive what amount of reciprocating he deserves.

First Frost storyline happens concurrently with HL. First Frost starts a few months before Sang Zhi flies to Yihe on her own to see DJX.
As I read the novel, I could visualise and connect the dots from HL timeline as well.

She didn't want to become a reporter, she chose that course due to circumstances. She wanted to be a dancer, she had no choice but to change her career route because of her mother. Her grandmother is not dead by the way, she was just too ill to continue taking care of her.

How is it not realistic?
You've never met people who suffer and are down on their luck?
Some people's stories are even much worse when you hear it.

I loved it.
I would recommend it for everyone. So that you can get a better understanding of our FL.
She went through a lot, these experiences shaped her mindset and outlook on life. Her self esteem and self worth took an almost irreparable damage.

Some of these comments just show how insensitive humans can be when we haven't ever been in a particular situation. SA is not a joke.

I would also recommend it so that we can understand Sang Yan as well.

If loving someone with all of your heart and being means you're a simp then I don't know what kind of love you people have been experiencing.
